battlefield-6Electronic Arts Inc. and Battlefield Studios today launched Season 3 across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC. Two of Battlefield’s most celebrated maps are re-imagined for Battlefield 6 this season, with Railway to Goldmud and Cairo Bazaar, alongside the highly anticipated debut of Ranked Play in Battle Royal Quads.

BATTLEFIELD 6 OFFICIAL SEASON 3 GAMEPLAY TRAILER

Phase 1: Warlords: Supremacy, begins today and features the largest map in Battlefield 6 to date, Railway to Golmud. This is a reimagining of Battlefield 4’s Golmud Railway, is evolved for modern combat, with expanded airspace for dogfighting, increased elevation and additional structures to flank behind, plus the return of a fully operational railway complete with a moving train.

Phase 1 also sees the debut of Ranked Play. Launching in Battle Royale Quads in REDSEC, this is the introduction of Battlefield’s new competitive framework. Ranked Seasons will feature a tiered ranking system from Rookie to Master, with a unique emblem for the top 250 players globally. Players earn Ranked Points through confirmed kills and assists, and final placement, with rewards such as player cards and titles to show off their prowess on the battlefield.

On June 9, Phase 2: Blast Point features another all-time classic map reimagined for Battlefield 6:Cairo Bazaar, a remake of Battlefield 3′s Grand Bazaar, relocated to Cairo. A tight, close-quarters combat space packed with alleyways and shops designed for deadly ambushes and intense gunfights. Alongside the new map, Obliteration also arrives in Phase 2 as a new mode. This classic 32v32 mode from Battlefield 4 returns as a more strategic, tightly contested variant where a single mistake can cost the match. This mode is also available as a LTM called Tactical Obliteration, an 8v8 experience later in Phase 3.

Season 3 concludes on June 30 with Phase 3: High-Value Target, which includes Casual Battle Royale and Battlefield’s First Collection Event, where players take down enemies, collect contracts, and execute them like a professional to earn exclusive rewards including cosmetics and even a new melee weapon.

Additional Season 3 highlights include new weapons, a new Handheld Jammer gadget, and a brand new Battle Pass.

Battlefield 6 and REDSEC are available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam™, EA App, Epic Games Store).

modern-naval-warfareAfter completing our first round of beta testing and receiving a large amount of valuable feedback, we have made an important decision regarding the launch of Modern Naval Warfare.

Modern Naval Warfare will initially release in Early Access.

Modern Naval Warfare is an ambitious simulation project. Our goal is to build the most accurate and realistic modern submarine simulator possible.

Following beta testing, it became clear that achieving the level of realism, depth, and technical detail expected by the naval simulation community requires direct collaboration with players throughout development.

This is not only about refining submarine systems and gameplay balance, but also about improving the broader experience around them: tutorials, onboarding, documentation, user interface, and overall accessibility without sacrificing complexity.

Why Early Access?
We believe Early Access is the best way to continue developing Modern Naval Warfare with direct community involvement while making the game available in a fully playable state.

Unlike many Early Access titles, Modern Naval Warfare launches with the core experience already implemented, including:

  • Full Virginia-class submarine simulation with all major stations functional
  • Complete playable dynamic campaign available from day one
  • Fully implemented world systems, ocean simulation, and AI maritime traffic
  • Extensive documentation and onboarding materials already included

The game is already playable from start to finish in its intended form.

During Early Access, our focus will be on refining and polishing the experience through community feedback, with particular attention to:

  • systems balancing and campaign tuning
  • performance optimization across a wider range of hardware
  • UI and UX improvements
  • onboarding and tutorial refinement
  • expanded documentation
  • localization support for major regions
  • technical groundwork for future multiplayer functionality

Community involvement
Modern Naval Warfare is designed first and foremost as a deep technical simulation.

We are specifically looking for feedback from players passionate about realistic naval operations, tactical procedures, sonar systems, fire control systems, weapon envelopes and modern submarine warfare.

At the same time, we want to improve onboarding and learning materials for dedicated new players willing to invest time into mastering these systems.

We intend to actively involve the community throughout Early Access and remain open to all forms of constructive feedback.

Early Access plans
We are currently targeting an Early Access period of approximately 12 months.

This timeframe gives us room to process community feedback, refine complex systems, improve stability and performance, and continue polishing the overall experience until it meets our internal quality standards.

We currently have no plans to change the price between Early Access and full release.

More details regarding release timing and development milestones will be shared soon.

icbm-escalationSlitherine has fully reworked the game’s AI. This is a fundamental overhaul, heavily driven by community feedback and incorporating many player-suggested tactics and improvements.

The new AI is more strategic, adaptive, and less predictable in its behavior. Depending on the selected difficulty, it creates constant pressure and makes the world feel truly “alive”, with territories frequently changing hands through ongoing regional conflicts.

It now handles diplomacy, conventional warfare, and nuclear escalation in a far more balanced and coherent way. Conflicts can evolve naturally over time – from early conventional engagements, through limited nuclear use, and ultimately into high-stakes, full-scale nuclear endgame scenarios.

In addition to these gameplay improvements, the update also delivers significant performance optimizations, resulting in a smoother and more consistent overall experience.

S.N.A.R.E. Campaign free content and discounts

Additionally, we are releasing the S.N.A.R.E. campaign for free. A series of five missions set across the decades (1960, 1980, 2000, 2020 and 2040), focused on heavy nuclear warfare.

To celebrate, the entire ICBM series is available at a discount for a limited time. Don’t miss the chance to enter this nuclear world or complete your collection.

ICBM: Escalation is also available for 20% off until May 25th on Steam.

radio-commander-pacific-41Transmission from the Pacific #1

Tora!, Tora!, Tora!

The Theater of War

The Pacific War encompassed the largest area of any episode of World War II. It was full of violent strikes, twists and turns, and the heroism of all the fighting soldiers. It was also a campaign where fleets clashed on one side, and on the other, jungle warfare requiring soldier action took place. Radio Commander Pacific ’41 takes us back to the struggle for islands in the Pacific from 1941 to 1945. The Pacific Theater featured vast distances, the need to capture individual islands, a fierce and often fanatical defense, the need for landings, the use of naval artillery, and more.

Player Role

The player takes on the immersive role of a commander during a conflict in which radio communication was crucial. Using only the radio voice communication, you must understand a situation and build the picture on your own, based solely on what your units are reporting. You don’t have a magic click moving tokens for you. You have to do it yourself. You don’t have automatic graphics and animations to make your work easier, as you might often see in other games. It’s just you, the map, and the radio. Use a radio to be a commander.

And based on the situational awareness you’ve built, you must communicate your intentions to your subordinate units, also via radio. You must independently make calculations, such as losses, the location of your own units, their situation, time to arrival, and ammunition levels. You must anticipate and react to enemy actions.

Create a battle plan, implement it, and act on changing enemy actions. Provide support to your units. All this is done exclusively via voice radio communication. Commands and reports are standardized, allowing for faster communication with your subordinates. You have a range of units at your disposal, from infantry to airplanes.

But the battle plan is in the commander’s head… in your head.

commandos-originsFour intense missions and new deadly tactical challenges await in the second DLC

Publisher Kalypso Media and in-house developer Claymore Game Studios Today release “No Man Left Behind”, the second DLC for Commandos: Origins, available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, and PlayStation®4|5.

Commandos: Origins – No Man Left Behind Release Trailer

Set in the Auvergne region of occupied France, the DLC expands the main campaign with four new missions. Following the capture of the Green Beret during a failed operation, players take command of Thomas “the Sapper” Hancock, Francis T. “the Sniper” Woolridge, and Rene “the Spy” Duchamp to rescue their comrade.

Players navigate through hostile terrain – spanning night time forest operations and heavily guarded military structures scattered across the mountainous countryside. Beyond simple infiltration, objectives evolve: to sabotage the prototype of a new dangerous German superweapon, the Commandos must uncover crucial information and clues on the ground.

The introduction of the Radio Operator adds a fresh tactical challenge. Enemy communications can escalate situations instantly, forcing players to prioritize disruption over direct confrontation. Cutting signal chains is now essential to maintain control across enemy territory.
