gallipoliBlackMill Games has announced at the FPS Games Show that their first free post-launch expansion for Gallipoli will be released on October 1. The teaser showcased the brand-new map, Ali Al Muntar, based on the strategic hill at the second Battle of Gaza during World War I. For the first time in the WW1 series, a map will feature tanks that will cinematically escort players at the start of the battle.

Gallipoli – Free Ali Al Muntar Expansion Teaser

The free expansion is part of the ‘Second Expedition’, the first post-launch expansion for Gallipoli. As previously revealed in the game’s roadmap, this expansion will also add eight new weapons, time of day- and weather presets, as well as proximity chat. The Second Expedition will also feature new paid cosmetic DLCs. Gallipoli will be supported with updates for several years.

Gallipoli is the newest entry in the WW1 Game Series, and released last month on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with full crossplay. world-of-tanks-heatWargaming today announced the launch of World of Tanks: HEAT Season 2: Fire and Ash. The season expands the HEAT experience with a new Agent, three powerful vehicles, a volcanic battlefield, massive 20v20 Conquest battles, the new Archive Battle Pass system, and a range of gameplay improvements.

World of Tanks: HEAT Season 2 Overview Trailer

Gambit is the latest Defender-class Agent to join the fight this season, built to hold the front line and punish enemies who overcommit. His passive, Feedback Loop, applies a stacking debuff to vehicles that damage him, eventually disabling their abilities, with stronger effects at close range. His Ultimate, Iron Curtain, deploys defensive drones that temporarily boost health and provide defensive buffs to Gambit and nearby allies, helping his squad withstand heavy fire.

HEAT Season 2 Cinematic Trailer

Agent Gambit arrives with two unique tanks, both of which can be earned for free through the Battle Pass track:

  • M60A3E2 – Energized Plating temporarily boosts protection and track durability, while Blast Projectors unleashes a charged concussion blast against nearby enemies, trading greater damage for increased risk to the vehicle.
  • T-72SH – Disruption Field Generator scrambles enemy targeting systems, while Tesla Discs deploys devices that deal pulse damage and jam nearby enemies.

Following her debut at launch, Agent Ember receives her second vehicle, the M1150 ABV, a flamethrower-focused tank built for close-range combat that uses Line Charges and Incendiary Launchers to inflict heavy mid-range damage.

Season 2 also introduces a new map, Inferno One, a once-thriving town in an alternate-history Iceland where a catastrophic volcanic eruption has turned the landscape into a deadly warzone. The map’s safe areas constantly change shape as rivers of molten lava invade the battlefield, forcing players to adapt as the magma encroaches.

Battles are also getting bigger with a new 20v20 Conquest format, bringing 40 players together on a single map:

  • Same rules as the existing 10v10 Conquest, with twice the players
  • 5 bases up for grabs at once
  • Unlimited respawns to get back in there and keep fighting
  • As with Plant/Defuse, these battles will run during peak weekend hours only at the start, and will be expanded over the course of the season

The Fire and Ash Battle Pass runs for the duration of the season. As with all seasons in HEAT, all rewards can be earned for free through regular play. An optional Premium Battle Pass is also available for 1000 HEAT-Coins, allowing rewards to be unlocked in any order.

Additionally, from Season 2 onward, each unfinished Battle Pass stays playable after its season ends, and every reward on it stays obtainable. This is called the Archive, and will remain active for future seasons, with Premium status remaining on a specific Battle Pass whenever it is purchased.

ace-combat-8-wings-of-theveBandai Namco Entertainment Europe today revealed that ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE is inviting ACE pilots from around the world to prepare for the most exhilarating multiplayer aerial combat experience ever at launch. Developed by Bandai Namco Aces Inc., the long-awaited sequel will take to the skies with early access for Deluxe Edition owners from 29 September 2026, ahead of its full launch on 2 October 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

The new “Online Overview” trailer for the game reveals new online game modes, progression and rewards, and a range of new content that is accessible via a new Air Base virtual lobby that can host up to 100 players from around the world. The online mode in ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE features the same stunningly realistic visuals and intense battles as Campaign Mode, but with its own progression system, separate save data, and the thrill of fighting alongside ACE Pilots around the world and against foes regardless of their platform, with cross-play functionality.

Watch the new ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE trailer HERE.

Players enter online mode in ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE as a mercenary pilot, with a customisable avatar that they can continue to personalise with unlocked rewards and cosmetic items. Once outfitted, they enter an interactive Air Base that acts as an online lobby, where they can meet and chat with pilots worldwide. The game features two main online multiplayer modes. Co-p Assault mode is focused on PvE combat, where two teams of four players compete for high score in missions that feature a variety of enemies and objectives. Co-Op Warfare is the game’s PvPvE mode, pitting two teams of four against each other, along with NPC units. You can enjoy strategic gameplay centred around “Threat Level” and “Aces.” The team with the highest total score at the end wins and earns more rewards.

As players progress in online mode, two additional special emergency missions will appear for a limited time. Scramble missions promise pulse-pounding dogfights, where a team of 4 player take on a formidable NPC rival air squad. Emergency Sortie missions deliver a challenging treat to new and returning players, with eight pilots taking on iconic colossal weapons from the series and, for some, reliving legendary ACE COMBAT boss fights. Limited time PvP events will also make an appearance in ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE online mode, including both 4v4 team and 8-player deathmatch.

The Air Base lobby is a big part of the experience in ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE online mode, where players can matchmake and launch sorties or participate in military training mode with up to four players. They can also just hang out to interact with pilots worldwide via chat, play classic Bandai Namco arcade games in the virtual arcade, or play the Jukebox to hear memorable soundtracks from prior ACE COMBAT games. There is also a supply shop as well as the ACE COMBAT STORE, where players can use in-game currency earned through missions to purchase aircraft, cosmetics for customisation, or special in-game boosts and other items. As players progress, they will also unlock gates that take them to other Air Bases that act as online mode lobbies. For ACE PASS holders, playing online mode counts towards their progress.

Pre-Purchase the game on the ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE official website or on Steam.
