Dive deeper into the world of UBOAT, a World War II submarine simulation game with the new Type IX: Distant Coasts DLC on Steam! This expansion brings the long-awaited Type IX U-boat to the game, opening up new strategic possibilities and historical theaters of war.

To access the new DLC:

1. Please click with a right mouse button on UBOAT in your Steam library and enter properties from the context menu.

2. Once there, select the tab titled “Betas” and enter this password: tfbaADngquY84n.

3. Ensure that your currently selected beta is called “2026.1-alpha”.

After doing these steps, you will have access to the version 2026.1 and the DLC.

UBOAT is a simulator of a submarine from WWII era, yet different than all you have seen so far. It is a survival sandbox with crew management mechanics while its primary theme is life of German sailors. The boat is their home, but it can become their grave at any time.

In UBOAT you control the crew in order to control the boat. You look after their physical and mental health, because if the sailors are hungry, tired and their spirit is low, there’s no chance of winning even a skirmish.
