The Three Nations DLC introduces four standalone, story-driven scenarios centered on D-Day, offering new perspectives on the Normandy landings through the eyes of British paratroopers, US paratroopers, and German Wehrmacht forces. Each scenario presents distinct tactical challenges and leadership dilemmas shaped by the chaos and uncertainty of June 1944.

Four Standalone D-Day Scenarios

• Pegasus Bridge: Lead British paratroopers in the critical mission to seize and hold the bridge, while exploring the civilian intelligence-gathering decisions that shaped the assault months in advance.
• Benouville: Defend the village overlooking Pegasus Bridge against determined and sustained German counterattacks.
• Steel Rain: Switch perspectives and command a mechanized German force attempting to retake the bridge.
• Meyers Hill: Lead US paratroopers in Normandy in a scenario featuring interactive live-action video, developed in collaboration with leadership expert Colonel John Antal, former executive producer of Brothers in Arms.

New Features and Enhancements

In Allied Operations: Italy Vol. 1, you will command the British Eighth Army and the US Seventh Army during Operation Husky, the massive amphibious assault that opened the road into Europe’s southern flank. Fight across Sicily’s rugged terrain, break through Axis defensive lines, and push both armies toward a converging offensive against the retreating German and Italian forces.

This DLC features two parallel campaign paths that eventually merge into a unified Allied advance. Build and carry over your veteran core forces, use historical heroes, earn Commendation Points for unique rewards, and deploy new obstacles and fortifications such as hedgehogs, barbed wire, pillboxes, and machine-gun nests.

Begin the Allied liberation of Italy and shape the opening phase of a campaign that will continue across the entire Italian front.

Publisher Kalypso Media and Developer Kite Games have today announced that Sudden Strike 5, their upcoming Real-Time Strategy WWII game and latest installment in the Sudden Strike series, will have a playable demo during the Steam Next Fest from today, February 23rd, up until March 2nd. This comes following a successful Closed Beta period last year and nearly a decade since the previous game, Sudden Strike 4, released in 2017.

Generals, prepare to fall in line and command the forces of two out of the three factions across two specially selected missions, “Attack on Monte Cassino” (Western Allies) and “Defence of Sevastopol” (Soviets) – the final game will also include the ability to play as the Axis forces. These two missions are just a taste of the full game, which will include a massive 25-missions across the three faction campaigns, ranging from icy tundra to the blistering heat of Northern Africa. At launch, the full game will feature 25 missions, multiplayer modes, along with additional balancing, and improvements not present in this demo.

Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition’s Winter free update has delivered fresh custom content tools for creating your own CPU lords, castles and trails!

The ‘Castle & CPU Lord Editor’ lets you design your perfect custom lord and their fearsome fortress – and even edit the stats and castles of existing lords, too. After updating the game, you can find this tool via the Steam Library! The ‘Custom Trail Maker’ is part of the base game, and you can find it in the Map Editor! Devise challenging skirmish trails of up to 50 missions, and share them with your friends to test their mettle.

You’ll need to download the brand new base-game update for Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition first, and then launch the game to check you’re on the latest version. You’ll also need to restart Crusader: DE after using the ‘Castle & CPU Lord Editor’, so Steam can sync your custom CPUs and castles to the game.
