Wargaming today announced the launch of Season 1, titled “Lost Eden”, for its new free-to-play tactical vehicle shooter World of Tanks: HEAT on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Launching July 1, the Season introduces an exciting chapter of battlefield content, including a new Agent, two tanks, a brand-new map, and a premium Battle Pass to expand the HEAT experience.

HEAT Season 1: Lost Eden Cinematic Trailer

Lost Eden introduces Flair, a new Marksman-class Agent specializing in stealth and misdirection. Her passive ability, Signature Masking, keeps her hidden from enemy targeting systems, while her Ultimate, Echo Proxy, deploys a controllable duplicate vehicle that can be used to confuse opponents, set up ambushes, and reposition across the battlefield.

Agent Flair arrives with two unique deception-based tanks, both of which can be earned for free through the Battle Pass:

• Leopard 2FK (ATGM launcher) – Feign Death lets it disguise itself as wreckage while still moving; Electro-Optical Jammers cut enemy targeting accuracy.

Celebrate 250 years of American Independence Day

Bringing the celebrations to Legendary waters, players can immerse themselves in dedicated activities – including a “Three Eras of Freedom” Collection, and the “Big Chief” Calendar. Complete the daily Calendar to unlock new Commander Ernest E. Evans, as well as three Commander guises of notable figures from notable eras of U.S. Navy history. Throughout the update, players can also collect a special event currency, Independium. This can be redeemed for a new Legendary tier destroyer USS Burrows, special skins inspired by different periods of American naval history, and skins for new Early Access destroyers.

A new line of U.S. alternative destroyers make waves in Early Access

Also sailing into the game is a new line of four U.S. alternative destroyers – Tier V Kane, Tier VI Hughes, Tier VII Osborne and Tier VIII Christopher. Each of these ships is equipped with Advanced Radar – a feature offering the benefit of periodically revealing an opponent’s position on the minimap when in range, even if it’s not been spotted. The new ships can be found across special U.S. Alternative Destroyer Crates and in the “Steel Eagles” random bundle, the latter of which also has the chance to drop new U.S. Tier VIII Premium cruiser Cambridge.

Unlock Indiana in the Pacific Hammer campaign

Closing out July’s update, players can look forward to a new campaign that challenges them to complete 100 milestones over the course of five weeks. Waiting at the end for players who complete the campaign with active Admiralty Backing, is U.S. Tier VIII Premium battleship Indiana, alongside plenty of other rewards. Part of the historical South Dakota-class of ships, Indiana sports powerful secondary guns and an impressive set of consumables, including Repair Party, Sonar, and a choice between Enhanced Secondary Targeting, Observation Seaplane, and Catapult Fighter.

Today, Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC received their latest Season 3 update, which includes a contract-focused event, a twist on Obliteration mode, the launch of Casual Battle Royale, updated gunplay as highlighted in the latest Battlefield Combat series, and more.

During the Wet Work Event, players can pick up Contracts dropped by eliminated enemies and complete mid-match objectives ranging from eliminations and looting Chests to capturing objectives or staying alive. Whether you’re hunting targets in REDSEC or pushing objectives in Multiplayer, Wet Work is all about taking the contract, staying alive, and finishing the job.

Tactical Obliteration is a twist on the large scale version which launched during Blastpoint. This smaller scale experience emphasizes individual squad play through an 8v8 grudge match, available in Verified Portal on June 30. This competitive, high-stakes experience is meant for squads who mastered coordinated objective play.

Lastly, Casual Battle Royale brings a more laid-back experience to REDSEC. This iteration of Battle Royale will include bots to help create more manageable combat engagements, smoother match flow, and a more approachable environment for players learning the mode, trying new classes and loadouts, or warming up before higher-stakes matches. Bots are designed to support the overall pacing of the match while still keeping the focus on player-driven encounters.

Twenty-five years ago, Arma: Cold War Assault put you on the windswept islands of Everon, Malden and Kolguyev and let you fight a cold war that never quite stayed cold. This is that game’s original “Poseidon” engine, brought into the present: rebuilt in modern C++, configured with CMake and Clang, and running natively on both Windows and Linux (64-bit).

This release is free, and it is two things at once.

A playable demo
A self-contained slice of Cold War Assault you can download and play right now – the classic open-world sandbox, vehicles, AI and mission system that defined a genre, running on a clean, modern codebase.

An official asset pack
The demo doubles as a sanctioned asset pack for the Arma community. The bundled game data is provided as raw material you are free to study, modify and build new Arma content from. If you have ever wanted to learn how a Bohemia game is put together, or wanted clean reference assets to start a mod, this is for you.

Sudden Strike 5 – France: Road to Liberation is set in August 1944, during the backdrop of Operation Dragoon as opposing forces battle for control of a nation on the brink of liberation. The upcoming DLC introduces six new missions, with three playable as the Allied forces and three playable as the Axis powers. Storm the shores of Camel Beach with the Allied forces and progress through the liberation of Toulon before capturing Hill 300 to sever German retreat routes. Axis missions will challenge the tactical expertise of battle-hardened generals as German armies must evacuate the region while defending critical positions against mounting Allied pressure.

Tactical possibilities expand as generals gain access to a new Commander, Jean de Lattre de Tassigny, introducing a mobility-focused playstyle supported by two new doctrine cards Maquis Mobilization and Crew Vehicle Training, each with additional extensions to further adapt battlefield strategies with deeper tactical customization.

Reinforcements arrive with more than six new units and unit types including the Allied destroyer USS Edison, the remote demolition vehicle German SdKfz. 302 Goliath, with French infantry and additional new vehicles like amphibious units joining the fight.

In addition to the upcoming DLC, the development team will continue to deliver auxiliary game enhancements as detailed in the recent roadmap. Co-Op Mode will officially be arriving to the game as a free update for all in early July. A quality-of-life update has already been implemented this past week providing the ability to individually remove units from trenches, the addition of new tutorial hints in loading screen and new visibility settings, among other adjustments and fixes, the full update changelog can be found here.

Anti-radiation missiles, electronic support measures, and dozens of new vehicles arrive in the new update

Gaijin Entertainment announces the release of Heavy Cavalry, a new major content update for the online military action game War Thunder. The update brings dozens of new ground, air and naval vehicles, including M1A2 SEP v3 and Т-90M Arena-M MBTs, introduces anti-radiation missiles and electronic support measures to expand high-tier combined battles, and adds new machines for many nations, including Indonesian Leopard 2RI, Argentinian IA 58A Pucará and Serbian J-22M1A Orao. Naval battles are reinforced as well, with the German warship Admiral Scheer joining the fleet.

‘HEAVY CAVALRY’ UPDATE TRAILER

One of the headline features of Heavy Cavalry is the arrival of anti-radiation missiles and electronic support measures. These new tools give pilots a specialized way to hunt radar-guided air defense systems. Anti-radiation missiles are designed to detect enemy radar emissions and guide themselves toward the source, while ESM equipment helps pilots locate signal sources, select targets and provide missile guidance. The first wave features weapons such as the AGM-88 HARM, AS-37 ARMAT, ALARM, YJ-91, CM-102, LD-10, and Soviet Kh-family missiles, including a ramjet-powered model.

Aviation fans can now take the IA 58A Pucará into battle, the first domestically designed and produced Argentine aircraft to appear in War Thunder. This compact twin-turboprop ground attack aircraft combines 20 mm cannons, machine guns, bombs, rockets and even a torpedo option. While not fast, the Pucará is agile, responsive and well suited for close air support, especially in Ground Battles where its flexible payload can be used against a wide range of targets.
