Today the ‘ladies of hell’ have arrived… The Highlanders joined the trench warfare!

The Scottish were no stranger to war, and when the call to arms came in 1914, a relatively large number of Scottish young men eagerly joined the ranks of the British in Belgium. Wearing their traditional kilts, they performed many aggressive scouting maneuvers, often finding themselves in the thick of savage battles such as Loos and Arras. They suffered a staggering number of casualties as a result, but were nevertheless undeterred and soon earned the nicknamed the “ladies from hell”.

The Scottish squad will perform the role of aggressive scouting in Verdun. They are armed with their distinctive Pattern 1914 Enfield, a five-round “dog-leg” bolt handle rifle ideal for marksmen. The rifle combines the elements of the famous German Mauser, the five-round internal box magazine, with some Lee-Enfield features. Compared to the standard Lee-Enfield, the Pattern 1914 was more accurate and durable, though heavier as well.

On July 1943, the German war machine had the chance to deal a mortal blow to the Red Army. After the defeat at Stalingrad, it was necessary to regain the initiative and secure the Eastern front. For this purpose, the German High Command massed a huge quantity of Panthers and Tigers tanks in proximity of the Kursk salient, hoping to destroy the bulk of the Russian forces in this area.

But the Soviets, knowing in advance the Hitler’s plan, created over 190 miles of depth defense to stop the Panzerwaffe and they moved their armored forces in reserve for the counter-attack.

The largest tank battle of the entire Second World War was about to commence…

Tigers on the Hunt: Kursk is a DLC containing three Campaign Game Scenarios for Tigers on the Hunt, focused on the key operations during Operation Citadel. This nice addition features a different type of gameplay from the original base game, giving the players a more challenging experience!

A Campaign Game Scenario is a much larger scenario with a lot of units on a large map. The battle lasts generally over several days and nights before the Campaign Game winner is called. To do this the Game Turns are divided into portions for Day (8 Game Turns) and Night (4 Game Turns). See more information on how it works on the official product page here.

Following the steps of the base game, Tigers on the Hunt: Kursk will make you toiling for every inch conquered, fighting against an unforgiving AI!

AMD has released the latest version of its Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition. The reason these are not marked 17.1, after January 2017, is because they’re just WHQL-signed versions of the 16.12.2 beta drivers released in December 2016, and as such feature an identical change-log.

As we plow through our many Z270 motherboards reviews we have looked at budget, mainstream but also we need to look at high-end the enthusiast class. That’s where we meet the MSI Z270 XPOWER GAMING Titanium. A breathtaking motherboard with metal colored coating, extra overclock features, DDR4 boost functions not one, not two but three M.2. slots and just so much more. Titanium edition – it probably is the most interesting looking motherboard released ever thanks to a new PCB coating. Combined with a few extra’s and an overall high class build MSI might have a true winner here. A motherboard that promises to deliver a high amount of features and provide that Sky- or Kaby Lake processor the full infrastructure is needs for a kick-ass gaming PC.

Some people say that World War II started in China when the Second Sino-Japanese War broke out in 1937, a full two years before German aggression seized Europe. Flying Tigers: Shadows Over China, a historical air-combat action game currently in Steam Early Access, is based on the true events of covert American WW2 fighter pilots who flew combat for the Chinese Nationalist Party under Chiang Kai-shek, more commonly referred to as the Republic of China or the Kuomintang aka KMT (the Kuomintang were forced to retreat to Taiwan in 1949 after being defeated by the Communist Party of China during the Chinese Civil War).

The “Kipling” Steam update introduces the first set of hand-painted illustrations that strives to capture the mood, look and feel of aerial warfare in 1940s South-East Asia theatre of World War II, more commonly known as the CBI (China-Burma-India).

About the Kuomintang of China (KMT)
The Kuomintang of China, often translated as the Nationalist Party of China or Chinese Nationalist Party, was the ruling party in mainland China from 1928 until its retreat to Taiwan in 1949 after being defeated by the Communist Party of China (CPC) during the Chinese Civil War. Together with the People First Party and New Party, the KMT forms what is known as the Taiwanese Pan-Blue Coalition, which supports eventual unification with the mainland. However, the KMT has been forced to moderate its stance by advocating the political and legal status quo of modern Taiwan. The KMT accepts a “One China Principle” – it officially considers that there is only one China, but that the Republic of China rather than the People’s Republic of China is its legitimate government. In 1930, large-scale civil war broke out between warlords who had fought in alliance with the Kuomintang during the Northern Expedition and the central government. In addition, the Chinese Communists (CPC, or Communist Party of China) revolted against the central government following a purge of its members by the KMT in 1927. The Chinese government diverted much attention into fighting these civil wars, following a policy of “first internal pacification, then external resistance”.

Jon North Puts Skills to Work in a Bloody Slaughterhouse

CI Games, developer of the Sniper: Ghost Warrior series and Lords of the Fallen, explores the dark depths of a slaughterhouse shown in a never-before-seen map location in Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3.

Located deep in the Georgian mountains, an American prisoner is being held captive in an old slaughterhouse repurposed by separatists to be a site of body disposal. Watch as American Marine Jon North uses his skills to rescue the prisoner quickly and efficiently while he’s still alive.

Armed with a variety of weapons and equipment, Jon North’s combat prowess is fully realized when properly prepared for the mission. New to the series, the aerial drone with the proper upgrades provide an advantage before entering the area.
