The Three Nations DLC introduces four standalone, story-driven scenarios centered on D-Day, offering new perspectives on the Normandy landings through the eyes of British paratroopers, US paratroopers, and German Wehrmacht forces. Each scenario presents distinct tactical challenges and leadership dilemmas shaped by the chaos and uncertainty of June 1944.

The “Full Burden” bundle (Base game plus DLC) will also be launched with a 30% discount.

Four Standalone D-Day Scenarios

• Pegasus Bridge: Lead British paratroopers in the critical mission to seize and hold the bridge, while exploring the civilian intelligence-gathering decisions that shaped the assault months in advance.
• Benouville: Defend the village overlooking Pegasus Bridge against determined and sustained German counterattacks.
• Steel Rain: Switch perspectives and command a mechanized German force attempting to retake the bridge.
• Meyers Hill: Lead US paratroopers in Normandy in a scenario featuring interactive live-action video, developed in collaboration with leadership expert Colonel John Antal, former executive producer of Brothers in Arms.

New Features and Enhancements

• New Tactics and Units: Including British paratrooper smoke mortars, German repeat-fire MG42s, US paratrooper intrinsic machine guns, and limited but vital anti-tank resources.

The Three Nations DLC delivers over five hours of focused, narrative-driven gameplay, continuing the series’ commitment to historical authenticity, tactical depth, and emotionally grounded leadership storytelling.

In Allied Operations: Italy Vol. 1, you will command the British Eighth Army and the US Seventh Army during Operation Husky, the massive amphibious assault that opened the road into Europe’s southern flank. Fight across Sicily’s rugged terrain, break through Axis defensive lines, and push both armies toward a converging offensive against the retreating German and Italian forces.

This DLC features two parallel campaign paths that eventually merge into a unified Allied advance. Build and carry over your veteran core forces, use historical heroes, earn Commendation Points for unique rewards, and deploy new obstacles and fortifications such as hedgehogs, barbed wire, pillboxes, and machine-gun nests.

Begin the Allied liberation of Italy and shape the opening phase of a campaign that will continue across the entire Italian front.

With Operation: Clear Sight, two new free sights are coming to the game: the Romero T8 for Security and the PKO-6 for Insurgents.

The Jackal has resurfaced in the city, leading a surge of insurgent forces toward a high-value intelligence target. With time running out, GRS operators have been dispatched with advanced gear to shut down the assault and take him out before he slips away.

Slitherine Software today announced that the demo for its latest World War II strategy game “Battleplan” is now available on Steam, as part of the Steam Next Fest.

Step into the role of a General, where your responsibility is not to micromanage units on the field, but to make high-level strategic decisions from headquarters. Operational and tactical execution is delegated to your officers: your job is to plan, anticipate, and command. Publisher Kalypso Media and Developer Kite Games have today announced that Sudden Strike 5, their upcoming Real-Time Strategy WWII game and latest installment in the Sudden Strike series, will have a playable demo during the Steam Next Fest from today, February 23rd, up until March 2nd. This comes following a successful Closed Beta period last year and nearly a decade since the previous game, Sudden Strike 4, released in 2017.

Generals, prepare to fall in line and command the forces of two out of the three factions across two specially selected missions, “Attack on Monte Cassino” (Western Allies) and “Defence of Sevastopol” (Soviets) – the final game will also include the ability to play as the Axis forces. These two missions are just a taste of the full game, which will include a massive 25-missions across the three faction campaigns, ranging from icy tundra to the blistering heat of Northern Africa. At launch, the full game will feature 25 missions, multiplayer modes, along with additional balancing, and improvements not present in this demo.

Electronic Arts Inc. and Battlefield Studios today launched Season 2 across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC. Season 2 sends the fight to Europe with two new maps, limited-time modes, and much more, rolling out across three seasonal phases beginning today.

Launching across Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC, Season 2 introduces two all-new maps, Contaminated, a large-scale map set in a once-vibrant forest now scarred by experimental weapons and heavy shelling, alongside Hagental Base, a military facility that becomes the stage for intense close-quarters combat and stealth-focused gameplay later in the season.

BATTLEFIELD 6 OFFICIAL SEASON 2 GAMEPLAY TRAILER

Phase 1: Extreme Measures, begins today with the debut of Contaminated, and the introduction of VL-7, a new limited-time experience built around psychoactive smoke intensifying combat. These smoke clouds blanket key areas of the map, disorienting players with immersive hallucinations and forcing squads to adapt in real time.

On March 17, Phase 2: Nightfall takes the battle to the deepest depths of a military facility called Hagental Base. Tied to this phase’s theme, a limited time mode brings darkness to the map, where blacked out corridors create a stealth driven experience. Players gain access to Night Vision Goggles, allowing squads to navigate the darkness and gain the tactical advantage. Nightfall will also arrive in Battlefield REDSEC with a dedicated Gauntlet playlist.

Season 2 concludes on April 17 with Phase 3: Hunter & Prey, introducing Operation Augur, a limited-time mode across both Contaminated and Hagental Base. Inspired by Battlefield 1’s Operations mode, this is Battlefield at its most cinematic, with emphasis on large-scale objectives, sustained momentum, and squad coordination over the course of an extended campaign.

Additional Season 2 highlights include new weapons, vehicles, gadgets, and customization options rolling out across all three phases, along with a new Battle Pass and store content.

The golden age of combat flight simulation returns today. F-22: Air Dominance Fighter is now available on Steam, published by MicroProse and originally developed by Digital Image Design.

First released in 1997 and widely regarded as one of the defining combat flight sims of its era, F-22: Air Dominance Fighter blended deep avionics modelling and a dynamic battlefield with accessibility and immediacy. As part of Steam’s PvP Fest event, Blue Dot Games have released a brand-new gameplay teaser trailer for their upcoming 40v40 squad-based tactical shooter ‘83, showcasing the game’s frantic firefights and moment-to-moment intensity.
