Cruisers are incredibly versatile vessels, ready to take on any other ship in the game and pick off scuttled opponents. Destroyers are quick and maneuverable, able to dodge enemy fire and deliver a well-executed torpedo strike. Battleships are heavy-hitting powerhouses, perfect for dealing massive damage. Finally, tactical Aircraft Carriers bring a real-time strategy dynamic, with scout planes to enemy vessels and torpedo bombers dropping their devastating payload.

There’s a new AOI player in the arena, the Slovenia liquid cooling gawds from EK are now offering the Predator series liquid coolers. We test the Predator 240 which is an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler for cases with 240 mm radiator mounts, but there will be a 360 model with extra quick connect to add gear in the cooling loop as well. Armed with a nice thick radiator, proper tubing and an excellent water-block the pre-filled and fitted kit is easy to install, and yes really impressive for a 240 mm product in both noise levels and cooling performance.

The Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) has the largest contiguous air and ground space available for peacetime military operations in the free world. The NTTR land area includes simulated air defense systems, mock airbases, and several target ranges. The NTTR was also used for nuclear testing. Today, it is home to RED FLAG and other military exercises that include countries from around the world. The NTTR map for DCS World 2 includes Nellis AFB, Creech AFB and the infamous Groom Lake AFB (aka Area 51). This map also includes the city of Las Vegas, McCarran International Airport, and Hoover Dam.

Despite an initial illusion of defensive strength, the BEF (British Expeditionary Force) has been encircled and overrun by the unorthodox tactics of the German panzer divisionen. An article on Bethesda.net has details on how Fallout 4 will be supported, outlining plans for regular free updates, DLC, and modification support . Their roadmap includes a $30.00 season pass that will grant all the DLC Bethesda will release for their upcoming RPG sequel and their mod support will include the release (next year) of the Creation Kit for PC, which they say is the same tool they use themselves. Here’s word:

Regular Updates
We’ll be doing regular free updates to the game, and like Skyrim, these will come with not just fixes, but new features. For Skyrim we added things like mounted combat, legendary mode, kill cams, visual enhancements and more. We’ll work with all of you to figure out what new things you’d love to see added to Fallout 4, whether they are small tweaks or new features.

Mods & Creation Kit
The most important thing in our games is the freedom you have to create your own experience, and modding is a big part of that. Like all our previous games, we’ve made sure to keep Fallout 4 open and moddable at every step in development. Early next year we’ll release for free the new Creation Kit for the PC. This is the same tool we use in the studio. You’ll be able to create your own mods and share them with others. We’re especially excited these same mods will then be coming to Xbox One, and then PlayStation 4.

Downloadable Content
We’ve always done a lot of DLC for our games. We love making them and you always ask us for more. To reward our most loyal fans, this time we’ll be offering a Season Pass that will get you all of the Fallout 4 DLC we ever do for just $30. Since we’re still hard at work on the game, we don’t know what the actual DLC will be yet, but it will start coming early next year. Based on what we did for Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim, we know that it will be worth at least $40, and if we do more, you’ll get it all with the Season Pass.

Apparently concerned that the world is not nearly excited enough for its upcoming quirky indie game Fallout 4, Bethesda has launched a new web series based around the post-apocalyptic RPG’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats system.

The first episode is a note perfect parody of cheesy 1950s public information cartoons, starring our old friend Vault Boy as he learns the importance of “S for Strength” in surviving the Wasteland. There’s no gameplay footage in the series, but it’ll get existing fans back in the Fallout mood while explaining some of the core features of the Fallout series to newcomers.

It’s also hilariously gory.

Scheduled to be released on September 15th, the Empires of Sand Culture Pack brings three new playable factions to Total War: Attila: Aksum, Himyar and the Tanukhids. Part of the new Desert Kingdoms cultural group, the pack also features new campaign and horde gameplay mechanics, events, enhanced religion features, and adds over fifty unique units to the grand campaign.

Note that because of the dramatic impact religious changes had on these cultures in this period, the Empires of Sand Culture Pack includes a number of changes that increase the importance of religion including building chains, victory conditions, events, technologies and overall campaign bonuses.
