The long-awaited next chapter in the METRO saga, METRO 2039, will launch simultaneously on all platforms on February 4th 2027. More details about METRO 2039’s technical specs and graphical modes will be revealed in the coming months.

Captured from the same campaign content playable at gamescom, the trailer focuses on raw gameplay, environmental detail, kinetic combat, and the technological advances that have been made to the 4A Engine since 2019’s METRO Exodus. 4A Games’ impressive new gameplay comes just days after METRO 2039 was awarded “Best Visuals” in the gamescom awards and secured more award nominations than any other title at the show.

METRO 2039 is available to wishlist now on the PlayStation, XBOX, Steam and Epic stores, with pre-orders going live later this year.
