Fulqrum Publishing is pleased to announce that the free demo for Theatre of War: Rearmed will be available during Steam Next Fest, giving players the opportunity to experience the updated WWII tactical strategy game ahead of its full release on December 9, 2026.

Bringing together the entire Theatre of War series and its expansions in one comprehensive package, Theatre of War: Rearmed unifies the original games on the latest version of the series’ engine. Players can revisit historic battlefields across multiple campaigns, command combined-arms forces, and put their tactical skills to the test in intense real-time engagements.

The collection brings together Theatre of War, including LEHR and Liberation Belarus; Theatre of War 2: Africa 1943, including Centauro; Theatre of War 2: Kursk 1943, including Battle for Caen; and Theatre of War 3: Korea. Together, they offer more than 100 missions spanning different theatres of World War II.

Reworked for modern systems, Theatre of War: Rearmed features improved performance and stability, enhanced visuals and effects, a redesigned interface for high-resolution displays and refined controls together with camera behaviour. Improvements to AI and battlefield systems further enhance the tactical experience while preserving the depth and realism that define the series.

The game also retains its strong community focus, with multiplayer battles, a built-in mission and map editor and modding support that lets players create and share their own scenarios.

The Steam Next Fest Demo offers players an opportunity to get their first taste of Theatre of War: Rearmed with 9 missions, 2 battles and a couple of multiplayer maps before the complete collection arrives this winter.
