AMD has released its latest version of its Radeon Software Crimson Edition drivers. Version 16.10.1 comes with optimization for “Gears of War 4″ and “Mafia III.” The drivers also add CrossFire support for “Shadow Warrior 2.” The drivers also correct various game-specific bugs, including the stutter and crash affecting CrossFire systems on “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided,” FPS drops with “The Crew,” surface flickers for CrossFire systems in “Battlefield 1,” and CrossFire/FreeSync users noticing flickering on “Paragon.” A Radeon WattMan bug that prevents it from applying its settings, was also fixed.

be-quiet-silent-loop-aio-cpu-coolerBy Peter Donnell @ eTeknix

Be Quiet! is one of the biggest names in the cooling business, offering up multi-award winning air coolers that have long been some of the best performing and quietest coolers on the market. While the company has expanded their ranges over the years to include high-end power supplies and even chassis, they’ve never bothered to follow the trend for water cooling, at least that was true until today.

The new Silent Loop series comes in three sizes, 120mm, 240mm and 280mm, featuring all the usual attention to detail we’ve come to know and love from be quiet! and that gives us a lot of hope that these new coolers will be some (if not the) best coolers in their respective price ranges.

These drivers come with day-one optimization for “Forza Horizon 3,” the latest addition to Microsoft’s smash-hit race sim. The drivers also lack the AMD Gaming app by Raptr, the app that started out at AMD’s equivalent to NVIDIA GeForce Experience. This move shaves the installer size by about 35 MB.
