samsung-960-pro-2tb-ssdBy Chris Ramseyer @ Tom’s Hardware

Samsung developed several new technologies for its 960 Pro NVMe SSD, and the end result is a massive 2TB M.2 product that tips the price scale at $1,300. Over the past two years, the Pro series has shifted from a product for enthusiasts and power users to more of a workstation-focused product. The shift stems from declining SSD prices fueled by entry-level pricing from Samsung’s competitors. The company’s own general-use EVO series, which has the highest market share of any SSD on the market, also plays a role in the declining costs.

AMD has released the WHQL-signed variants of the Radeon Software Crimson Edition version 16.10.1 drivers, which it released earlier this month. Besides optimization for “Gears of War 4″ and “Mafia III,” and CrossFire profiles for “Shadow Warrior 2,” these drivers come with support for the Oculus Asynchronous Spacewarp feature on graphics cards based on the “Polaris 10″ silicon (Radeon RX 480, RX 470).

AMD defines Asynchronous Spacewarp as the following…

ASW compares previously rendered frames, detects the motion between them, and extrapolates the position of scene components to create a new synthetic frame. Using this technology, synthetic frames will accurately approximate the fully-rendered frames they’re designed to replace.

You can download the Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.10.1 WHQL drivers here.

gigabyte-z170x-ud5-th-moboBy MAC @ Hardware Canucks

So far this year we have had the privilege of reviewing the entry-level GIGABYTE Z170-HD3, the gaming-oriented Z170X-Gaming 3, and the still gamer-focused but slightly higher-end Z170X-Gaming 5.

All of these proved to be very good motherboards in their respective niches, so it shouldn’t come as any surprise that we have been looking forward to reviewing another one of GIGABYTE’s offerings. With this in mind, we are happy to present you with the Z170X-UD5 TH, which retails for about $200 USD / $265 CAD. While this model shares a lot of DNA with its Z170X-UD5 sibling, it is the cutting-edge connectivity options that really make it special. GIGABYTE’s Z170X-UD5 TH has it all; awesome overclocking headroom, a great price and Thunderbolt 3 compatibility but is that enough to differentiate this board from its countless competitors?

in-win-303-pc-chassisBy Hilbert Hagedoorn @ GURU3D

We review the new In-Win 303 PC Chassis, a product series that is designed with that more compact form factor in mind, yet with nice aesthetics and yes, it has been fitted with tempered glass. And that does make this chassis look very special. Wanna have a peek? As you are going to notice, this chassis is compact in size, light-weight yet intriguing in its looks thanks to the aforementioned tempered glass, really that glass is 90% of the DNA that circulated through In Win designs as of the past year or so.

cryorig-a40-a40-ultimate-aioBy Sean Sinha @ Legit Reviews

Cryorig and their products are becoming quite familiar to Legit Reviews readers, as we’ve taken a look at quite a few of their offerings since coming to market in 2013. Our general take on Cryorig has been that the company offers great PC cooling solutions for a variety of situations, in addition to offering solid customer service and technical support. Cryorig is still a young company that is trying to grow in a competitive market, but so far they have done a great job in appealing to PC enthusiasts. We’ve used the Cryorig Amazon store to order their products with success. Only time will tell if Cryorig can continue to grow in the competitive PC cooling market, but they’ve gotten off to a wonderful start and they continue to expand their offerings to PC enthusiasts. Today Legit Reviews looks at the Cryorig A40 and A40 Ultimate AIO Hybrid Coolers.

ek-xlc-predator-280-aioBy Hilbert Hagedoorn @ GURU3D

EK has released three new models in the Predator range, this round with a 280mm Predator series liquid cooler as well. We will test that Predator 280 on a Core i7 4790K processor and will add a GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming X from MSI as well to the all-in-one liquid cooling loop. The end result is awesome as, even overclocked, our graphics card would not even pass 45 Degrees C. The nice thick radiator, proper tubing and an excellent water-block that is pre-filled and fitted is downright terrific.
