Total War: Attila – Slavic Nations Culture Pack DLC Launches Today

A new patch and access to the new Garamantes faction for free!

Out now, the Slavic Nations Culture Pack brings three new playable factions to Total War: Attila. The Anteans, Sclavenians and Venedians may be used in Single or Multiplayer Campaign modes and Custom and Multiplayer battles.

A hardy and mobile people, often seen as the last defence against the Huns, the Slavs range far and wide across the blasted Steppe to recolonise and bring new life to the abandoned earth. When conflict occurs, they release withering hails of poison arrows on their foes. Whether through diplomacy or conflict, they offer the perfect counter to the Hunnic threat, and introduce a number of unique ways to play Total War: Attila in both Campaign and Battle.

To mark the release, along with a new patch, all Total War: Attila owners will get access to the new Garamantes faction for free. In the dying light of the 4th century, the Garamantians occupy a unique position. From their north African strongholds, they can attack the now-troubled Roman Empire, forging their own path in the west, or strike out into the seas to explore the unknown. The world is changing, yet the Garamantians are poised to seize greatness no matter what!

Total War: Attila – Slavic Nations Culture Pack is out today and available to download from 5pm GMT/6pm CET via Steam.

Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s The Division Beta Breaks Records with 6.4 Million Players

tom-clancys-the-division Ubisoft announced that 6.4 million players participated in the Beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division, making it the biggest beta ever for a new IP on current generation platforms. The Division launches for PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, and Xbox One and Windows PC on March 8th.

On average, players spent 4 hours and 52 minutes as an activated sleeper agent, journeying through The Division’s pandemic-stricken New York City. More than one third of that time was spent in The Division’s unique and challenging player-versus-player (PVP) environment, the Dark Zone, with more than 2.5 million players going rogue.

The Beta was an opportunity for Ubisoft to test its online infrastructure as well as changes and updates made to the game. It also served as a chance for millions of players to try the game for the first time and provide their feedback to Ubisoft. With record breaking participation and engagement, Ubisoft is now looking ahead to The Division’s official release next month.

“We want to thank the millions of people who joined in on The Division’s Open Beta,” said, Magnus Jansen, creative director. “We hope everybody enjoyed playing, and we think the beta is going to help ensure a great launch for the game. We’re looking forward to everyone getting their hands on the full game when The Division is released on March 8th.”

RIOTORO Prism CR1280 Full-Tower Chassis Review

What do you get when you combine a few former Corsair and Nvidia employees? A new company called RIOTORO. RIOTORO is a few-month-old California based company that’s dedicated to building innovative PC components with leading-edge features and performance. Currently they produce PC cases, keyboards, and mice, though one does wonder if that’s where they’ll draw the line – doubtful. Initially their products were available to Latin America, but they’re now broadening their offerings to the US market and are launching the Prism CR1280 Full-Tower chassis with integrated RGB lighting.

Arma 3 Eden Update Now Live

Eden 3D Editor, Launcher-Based Server Browser, Audio Upgrade, and more

Building towards the Apex expansion, Bohemia Interactive today released a major platform update for their tactical military shooter, Arma 3. The Eden Update features the much-anticipated Eden Editor (3D Scenario Editor), Launcher-Based Server Browser, audio upgrade, and many other improvements. The update is reinforced by a brand new trailer.

The goal of the Arma 3 Eden Update is to enhance the game’s core usability and to cater to custom content creators in meaningful ways:

Eden 3D Editor – Retaining the beloved simplicity of creating scenarios, the new editor finally adds the third dimension and a lot of desired functionality. More info: Top 10 – Eden 3D Editor
Launcher-Based Server Browser – Get into multiplayer sessions more easily via better filtering options and Workshop mod support. More info: Top 10 – Server Browser
Audio Upgrade – A multi-channel amplitude panner and distance-based samples for weapons and explosions add more immersion and fidelity to combat sounds.
Font – Process information more quickly with a new, easier-to-read in-game font.

Just Cause 3 Season Pass Details Revealed – Sky Fortress Trailer

The first Just Cause 3 content pack entitled “Sky Fortress” is launching March 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and high end PC and holders of the Air, Land, & Sea Expansion Pass will be able to play it a week before is goes on sale as a standalone download . The new Sky Fortress Trailer is available now.

“If Just Cause 3 is over-the-top action then the Air, Land and Sea Expansion pass aims to stand on its shoulders and reach even higher,” said Tobias Andersson, Senior Producer at Avalanche Studios. “An incredible amount of time has been spent ensuring every new item is fully integrated into the main game and can be used during existing missions. Rico’s new Bavarium Wingsuit will fundamentally alter the core gameplay of Just Cause 3 and we can’t wait to see the crazy stunts that players perform with it.”

Sky Fortress contains a brand new set of missions that introduce a new threat – a huge and terrifying Sky Fortress and an army of deadly robotic drones. To tackle his deadly new adversary, Rico Rodriguez will use a new upgradeable, rocket-powered, weaponised ‘Bavarium Wingsuit’ fitted with shoulder mounted machine guns and auto targeting missiles – alongside his new ‘Eviction’ personal defence drone and ‘Bavarium Splitter’ assault rifle.

The second pack in the Expansion Pass entitled Land Mech Assault will contain another new series of missions that introduce a unique new vehicle that can be carried over into the main game; a heavily armoured mech armed with a gravity gun that allows objects to be picked up and powerfully thrown in any direction. Although the mech is as strong as a tank, it is highly manoeuvrable and agile and behaves unlike anything else in the game.

The Air, Land, & Sea Expansion Pass concludes with the Bavarium Sea Heist – details of which will be revealed in the following months.

SilverStone Tundra TD-03 Slim AIO CPU Cooler Review

Silverstone has a whole lot of focus on PC accessory footprints and its latest “smaller is better” mantra seems to be working for it. Today we are reviewing another Tundra Series All-In-One CPU cooler. This time is a single fan radiator design that promises to be thin enough to stick just about anywhere. The TD03-Slim is designed for people with the smallest of systems that have the least amount of space. Can SilverStone replicate the magic of the TD02-Slim and can they do it for a competitive price? These are just some of the questions I hope to answer.
