g-skill-ripjaws-km570-mx-keyboardBy Hilbert Hagedoorn @ GURU3D

We review the KM570 MX mechanical keyboard from the G.Skill gaming series. The unit is affordable and has been fitted with Cherry MX (in our case) red switches. It is a keyboard that offers value for money and doesn’t go all berserk with LED activity. Just subtle red back-lit keys and if you want to, you can animate them.

AMD today released Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.11.4, the latest version of its comprehensive Radeon GPU software suite. Version 16.11.4 comes with optimization for “Sid Meier’s Civilization VI,” the season’s smash-hit turn-based strategy title. The drivers also address a minor visual corruption noticed on “Titanfall 2″ rendered by Radeon R9 Fury series GPUs, when inside a titan. The drivers fix a bug with playback issues noticed on H.264 video-playback in web-browsers, when the GPU is also rendering games or other content in the background.

The GeForce website now offers new version 375.86 WHQL-certified GeForce drivers for NVIDIA graphics cards. These are the game-ready drivers for Battlefield 1, Civilization VI, Tom Clancy’s The Division, and the Steep open beta. They explain:

“In the coming weeks, Battlefield 1, Civilization VI and Tom Clancy’s The Division will all launch new updates that also require today’s Game Ready driver for the fastest and smoothest experience. So if you’re a fan of these three titles, be sure to snag the new driver in preparation.” Be warned, some are reporting problems with this release, and this thread is where these are being discussed. Word is that some users are experiencing flickering in SLI configurations and that some users of 1080/1070/1060 cards are experiencing incorrect memory timings.
