To End All Wars Twitch Stream and Announcement

to-end-all-wars-box Matrix Games today announced that this Wednesday (January 14th) they are kicking off the 2015 weekly Twitch streaming sessions with To End All Wars, one of the biggest and most accurate World War One war games ever created! During this streaming session, Surtur will be playing the game, explaining basic gameplay mechanics to new players. The Ageod developers will also be present during the stream, ready to take on every question you might have.

But that is not all! For we will also be announcing something completely new for To End All Wars! So be sure to tune in and find out!

GabberGames announces the release of War, the Game on Steam, calling this “PC strategy gaming for the masses.” That said, they also call this one of those games that’s difficult to master in spite of its simplicity, though one element that sets it apart from a typical RTS game is a spherical map, making for a more global version of a global conflict. This carries a 10% launch discount, and here’s word on gameplay:

War, the Game is a global Real Time Strategy game. Take the role of a supreme commander directing your armies across the globe. Use your strategic wit to battle AI and other players in realistic scenarios.

Easy to learn, difficult to master. War, the Game only has 7 army types. The game rules are simple and transparent. The first few scenarios teach you all you need to know. After that it is down to your braininess.

Variety is the spice of life. Take command of the armed forced of a large variety of nations. Scenarios require wildly different strategies to win that are not obvious as you start out. The AI is expanding so there is little time to decide. The network scenarios are also varied. 25 players in a big scrum or 1 on 1. With or without alliances.

Vietnam ’65 Announced and in Beta

Early 1965 – Regular US military units are deployed on Vietnamese soil. The American government sends massive support to South Vietnam to prevent the Viet Cong forces from the North unifying the entire country under the Communist banner. This Cold War conflict was not only fought with classic weapons, but also with unconventional tactics in order to gain support from civilians.

Vietnam ’65, the new game developed by Every Single Soldier, aims to capture this unique warfare duality. This is why the your main task is not to crush yout opponent as you usually do in other strategy games, but to win the hearts and minds of the local population! Your main focus will be to plan and execute counter-insurgency operations so that you will prevent villages falling under Viet Cong influence. Thanks to a refined AI and a randomly generated campaign map, you should be ready to face tough and surprising challenges!

This atypical multiplatform tactical game is now ready to enter the beta phase on both PC and iPad; and we invite players to help us test it! Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Dead Kings Now Available

Today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Dead Kings is now available, free of charge, for all Assassin’s Creed: Unity players on Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC, and will be released tomorrow January 14th on PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system in the UK.

After the events of Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Arno’s quest for redemption leads him to the town of Saint-Denis, then known as Franciade. There he is sent on a mission that will take him to the depths of the city, an intricate network of catacombs and deep caves that hold the remains and best-kept secrets of past French kings. To uncover the dark mysteries that lie beneath the Basilica, Arno is equipped with a lantern to guide his way and will gain access to the Guillotine Gun, a powerful weapon made for both long-range destruction and deadly close-quarter combat.

Gaijin Entertainment has released the full original War Thunder soundtrack to fans. Split into two albums – Air Forces and Ground Forces – the soundtrack contains 50 inspiring orchestral tracks as featured in the epic, breath-taking battles in War Thunder.

DeepCool Gamer Storm Lucifer CPU Cooler Review

The DeepCool Gamer Storm Lucifer heatsink is a fairly large CPU cooler, very much resembling a passive thermal solution on quick glance due to its boxy footprint and widely spaced aluminum fins. The heatsink isn’t a passive cooler though, its single fan is very much required to keep the Lucifer from becoming like its name-sake. The 140mm PWM fan is made by Deepcool with a rubberized frame so it sits comfortably against the aluminum fin stack without any rattling noises.
