New update brings WWII era jet fighters to the game

Darkflow Software and Gaijin Entertainment announce that online military shooter Enlisted got a Jet Power major content update. It brought early jet fighters and new infantry weapons like the Soviet Fedorov rifle 1912 and German MG 81 machine gun. The Seelow Heights map has been significantly reworked according to the player feedback and now has more diverse vegetation, alternate routes to capture points and more cover for infantry.

The German Me 262 entered service in 1944 and was the world’s first operational jet-powered fighter aircraft. It proved to be very effective in dogfights against Allied fighters and claimed 542 victories. Me 262 had little effect on the overall war effort because of late introduction and limited numbers, but won its place in the list of the most famous planes of World War II. Introduction of jet fighters to Enlisted allows the players to recreate the rare jet fighter sorties and witness themselves the power of military vehicles that were way ahead of their time.

Each side in Enlisted has gained access to a researchable late WWII fighter jet of their own: Soviet Su-9, British Meteor F Mk.3 and Japanese Kikka are all both fast and armed to teeth, thus being capable of turning the tide of battle. On the other hand, their handling differs significantly from aircraft with piston engines, and only the most experienced pilots will be able to harness their power.

The new Forest Map is now available to all players in Insurgency: Sandstorm! Engage in firefights on an overgrown military base, equipped with a deserted airport, research station, and decaying equipment. Whether you’re fighting by day or night, use nature to your advantage to get the upper hand on your enemies!

With Operation: Overrun, two new light machine guns are coming to the game: the state-of-the-art M250 for Security and the multipurpose H21 for Insurgents.

To coincide with the release of these new weapons, First Blood has been added to the pool of limited-time game modes. Unleash hell and dodge hails of bullets in frenetic matches where only light machine guns are allowed as primary weapons.

Rule the Waves 3 is a simulation of naval ship design and construction, fleet management and naval warfare from 1890 to 1970 and will place you in the role of ‘Grand Admiral’ of a navy from the time when steam and iron dominated warship design up to the missile age. It’s now been over 20 years since the release of People’s Tactics. The formula hasn’t changed much: a wargame mixed with procedural empire building. In 2007, People’s Tactics received an upgrade with the release of Advanced Tactics, which in turn was upgraded in 2011 with Advanced Tactics Gold.

Advanced Tactics Gold saw many years of active development throughout its lifecycle, though development had slowed considerably over the last 4-5 years—until two years ago. Thanks to Erich Ormand, ATG received a significant refresh, resulting in this final release of Advanced Tactics Gold.

A huge thanks to Erich, as well as to all the players who have supported Advanced Tactics over the past two decades. Special appreciation also goes out to all the testers, modders, and streamers who have contributed greatly.

Thank you all for your part in making ATG possible! There aren’t many games with such a lengthy lifespan, and our collective effort has established ATG as a legacy classic.

Armored Brigade II has released on Steam!

Since our Matrix release in November, we have been very busy improving and enhancing Armored Brigade II. Finland received some major attention with the addition of new 3-D models of the StuG III, Charioteer, Comet, and XA-180. We have also added unique West German infantry formations like Gebirgsjägers, Fallschirmjägers, Aufklärungstruppes, and Pionieres.

With the addition of FXAA and night-vision effects, Armored Brigade II is also looking better than ever.

In addition, we also have a major update going live today. V1.585 brings you two entirely new linear campaigns designed by the devs – Western Guard and Midsummer Inferno.
