TaleWorlds Entertainment has announced that War Sails, the naval expansion for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, is now available on Steam. To celebrate the launch, War Sails will be 10% off on all platforms for the first two weeks. Bannerlord is also joining the celebration with a 50% discount on select platforms. Alongside War Sails, a new base game Patch v1.3.4 has been released.

TaleWorlds Entertainment has today released a new gameplay video for War Sails – the highly anticipated naval expansion of its acclaimed action and strategy RPG, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – launching on November 26th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GoG, for $24.99 / €24.99. The new video showcases some of the most spectacular new mechanics introduced in War Sails, in a thrilling night-time river battle between the Nords – a fierce new faction introduced in the expansion – and the Khuzaits. Pitched in a deadly battle in the dark of night, the two factions battle not only each other, but the fury of the elements, in the midst of a violent thunderstorm. Ships ignite under barrages of blazing fire arrows, sails burn, and vessels sink beneath storm waves for the first time in the series’ history – offering just a glimpse of the intense naval battles awaiting players in War Sails.

CONTENT SUMMARY

This gameplay footage features a river battle between Khuzait and Nords. The player POV controls the Khuzait, with an army consisting of 3 Qalquk and 1 Dromakion (heavy ships), 3 Sambuk (medium), and 1 Eastern Galley (light), equipped with fire pots as ballista in heavy ships. The Nords’ army, playing as the attackers, consists of 6 Drakkar (Heavy), 1 Longship (Medium), and 1 Light Longship (Light). It’s a night-time battle, with both sides equipped with lanterns on their ships. Burning sails and ships are shown in the video.

The incoming War Sails expansion is scheduled to arrive to MOUNT & BLADE II: BANNERLORD in the Fall of 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GoG, alongside a major free update to the base game.

The Battle For Brooklyn DLC launches today in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, bringing a new narrative campaign with new missions, a new skill, new Hunter riddles, a new exotic item, and more to discover. The DLC is included in the Gold Edition and new Ultimate Edition (which released April 23) , and is also available for standalone purchase in both Standard and Deluxe editions (requires the base game).

Today also marks the launch of the The Division 2′s latest season – Crossroads – which brings new seasonal modifiers and gear incorporating elements reminiscent of The Division, the game that started it all. Furthermore, The Division 2 is now available through Xbox Game Pass and Ultimate subscribers can unlock the free EMS Outfit for a limited time starting on May 29. The Battle for Brooklyn DLC brings players back to New York, featuring faithfully recreated Brooklyn neighborhoods and a brand-new linear campaign. Throughout the campaign, available either solo or in co-op, players will uncover how the Cleaners have been mass-producing the dangerous Purple Flame, which threatens the fragile peace of the relatively untouched Brooklyn settlement.

Battle for Brooklyn, an all-new DLC for The Division 2 set in New York, was recently detailed in a special showcase. A new story awaits as players will explore some new (and some familiar) areas of Brooklyn and tackle developing threats. Battle for Brooklyn will release on May 27 alongside a new season of action-packed content; and the showcase also gave players a glimpse into what’s coming for Year 7 in The Division 2.

Battle for Brooklyn will bring players back to New York City in autumn, a new time of year not yet featured in the franchise. Residents have been living relatively peaceful lives in the post-pandemic neighborhoods of Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo. While some of these areas may look familiar to veteran Division players, others are entirely new and hold a fresh crop of secrets and challenges, and the narrative will be approachable for new players as well as seasoned Agents.

The main threat comes from the Cleaners and Rikers, who have crossed the river from Manhattan armed with the deadly Purple Flame: a corrosive new twist on their arsenal that will force players to rethink their tactics. As they progress through the linear campaign, either solo or in co-op, players will uncover how the Cleaners are producing the Purple Flame and fight to thwart the planned attack on civilians.

In Battle for Brooklyn, players can unlock a reimagined take on Smart Cover, a skill first introduced in The Division that allows players to reinforce cover points. Offensive and defensive variants, as well as applications for PVE and PVP, will make Smart Cover an impactful addition. The Catalyst Exotic Mask is exclusive to the DLC, and will grant bonuses for dealing and receiving status effect damage.

The showcase also shared updates on Year 7 of The Division 2; the team’s three main goals for the year are to improve the onboarding process for new players, add more depth to the endgame loop, and solidify seasons as a cornerstone of the game’s experience. Additionally, with new seasons, players can look forward to new events and realigned modifiers, gear, and gameplay that better reflect the narrative events.

Players who already own The Division 2 can wishlist Battle for Brooklyn on April 24, and the new DLC will be included with the purchase of The Division 2 Gold or Ultimate editions. The Division 2’s fourth Season, End of Watch, is now live and available for all Warlords of New York expansion owners. As soon as your complete the New York campaign and return to Washington D.C., the Season is open before you.

Your Prime Target this season is the once loyal agent twice turned traitor; Faye Lau, who now leads Black Tusk in Bardon Schaeffer’s stead along with her own cell of fellow Rogue SHD agents.

Your first target, Viper, is already available and can be tracked down by completing various missions, control points, and bounties throughout the map. Eliminate Viper and take your first step towards bringing down Faye Lau.

As always when a new manhunt target becomes available, you will be able to earn double XP for the first 15 levels during first 7 days of the manhunt.

What else lies in store for Season 4? Here’s what you can expect:

• Season 4 – End of Watch is filled with Leagues, Global Events, Manhunt Targets, and more. Tuesday of each week will bring the beginning of a new event as we move through Season 4.

• Seasonal Levels – As in Seasons past, 100 levels are available to earn throughout the season. Prior season experience does not count here – as all 100 levels are reset to be earned again. Season XP is earned from all activities and difficulties, so take the Season at your own pace and enjoy!
• After reaching Season Level 100, every SHD Level increases will also yield a Field Proficiency Cache!
• Season Pass – The optional Season Pass is available for 1000 Premium Credits ($10 or your regional equivalent) in the in-game store, granting additional cosmetics and opportunities for season gear as you progress. The Season Pass also adds a Daily Project for a hard difficulty Main Mission that grants extra XP to help you get those level rewards!
• Seasonal Manhunt Targets – A new target unlocks every 3 weeks, alongside a double XP event, providing an opportunity to progress quicker for the first 15 levels gained that week. Take down all four Lieutenants, Viper, Kestrel, Magnus, and Circe, to unlock the Prime Target, Faye Lau. Upon finishing the Manhunt, you’ll earn the new unique Skill variant, the Achilles Pulse.

Ubisoft now offers a free content update for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 and the Warlords of New York expansion for the open-world action/RPG. This adds a second eight-player raid and sees the return of the Race to World First competition and Twitch drops for the game. There is also a level 30 version of the new raid that will launch on July 7th. Here are the details:

Today, Ubisoft announced the release of “Operation Iron Horse,” the much-anticipated second eight-player raid in the Tom Clancy’s The Division® franchise. Operation Iron Horse is a free content update for owners of Tom Clancy’s The Division® 2 and the Warlords of New York expansion.

In this raid, Division Agents will head to a foundry, where the True Sons are manufacturing weapons as they devise a plan to re-establish their grip over Washington D.C. For this challenge, teamwork and the ability of even the most experienced agents will be tested.

Players who have reached Level 40 after playing The Division 2 Warlords of New York expansion will be able to participate in the raid. Players who own The Division 2 base game can participate in the Level 30 version of Operation Iron Horse, which will be released July 7. Operation Iron Horse can be played in Normal and Discovery Difficulty modes. Discovery mode will come at a later date and will feature matchmaking for the raid.

In addition to the second eight-player raid, the Race to World First competition is back. The first team on each platform to complete Operation Iron Horse after it goes live will be forever immortalized in-game by having their team photo and names displayed in a portrait in the White House in The Division 2 for all players to see.

Alongside the return of Race to World First, Twitch Drops are also back, allowing fans to receive drops from selected Twitch partner streamers who are streaming the raid on their platform. Twitch Drops will be available until July 2 at 5 am PT.
