Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launches October 25, and starting today you can learn all about the highly anticipated multiplayer gameplay coming with the newest entry in the critically acclaimed series. Check out the Multiplayer Reveal Trailer to see Modern Warfare’s “ultimate multiplayer playground” in action.

The Modern Warfare team is taking over the internet for a special Multiplayer Premiere, featuring a global livestream at Twitch.tv/CallofDuty and across the Call of Duty Facebook, Twitter, Mixer, YouTube, and MLG channels. In addition, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 players can watch the event via the in-game Live Event Viewer.

Modern Warfare Open Beta Test Incoming

A key piece of intel that made its way out of today’s event is the plan for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare PC open beta test. Everyone who pre-purchases the game on Battle.net will get early access on September 19 and 20, and everyone else can join in from September 21–23.

Specific timing for the PC open beta test will be announced closer to the start date.

AMD ended July with the fifth release of Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition for the month, version 19.7.5 beta. The drivers address an application crash noticed with “Wolfenstein: Youngblood” on Radeon RX 5700 series graphics cards, which is the only item on the change-log. AMD identified a number of new “known issues,” but the 50 percent increased idle fan-speeds on RX 5700 series isn’t one of them.

The new Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.7.5 beta drivers are available online at the AMD driver download page.

The third DLC has arrived for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown with this pack being led by the ADFX-01 Morgan jet. The jet comes equipped with the tactical laser system and multi-purpose burst missile system. You can see these weapons systems as well as the plane itself in action in this trailer. The trailer also reveals the two skins that are part of DLC pack 3, and those are the X-02S Mihaly skin and the Su-30SM Mihaly skin.

The ADFX-01 Morgan joins the ADF-11F Raven and ADF-01 Falken to round out the DLC planes. PS4 players can get the latest DLC pack from here, Xbox One players will need to click here, and PC players will need to go here. Alternatively, you can get the season pass to access all the DLC content.

Then watch the pre-show where Infinity Ward’s developers explain their design goals and vision for Multiplayer, how they’re bringing the most weapon choices in Call of Duty history to the party, along with an overview of the maps, game modes, and a number of other surprises… with the Multiplayer Gameplay Reveal just moments away!

10:30AM PDT: Gameplay Livestream

The Multiplayer Universe is revealed as multiple gameplay Livestreams go live! Expect some of your favorite, top-tier Twitch streamers and content creators from around the world to simultaneously stream Multiplayer games live to their own Twitch channels, all from inside the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Multiplayer Arena!

Be here to witness as livestreamers challenge (as well as team up with) each other across multiple game modes! Beamdog announces a July 31st Early Access release date for Axis & Allies 1942 Online, the Avalon Hill board game adaptation they unveiled earlier this year. This is coming to Steam, where the listing has details on what to expect from the game:

German tanks mobilize in the west, blitzing into France and pushing back the Soviet Union in eastern Europe. The United States rises in response to Japanese aggression in the Pacific. The United Kingdom rallies allies as bombers menace the skies. The year is 1942, and the world is at war!

Axis & Allies 1942 Online is an official adaptation of the beloved strategic board game, Axis & Allies, and includes the 1942 Second Edition game board and rules.

Axis & Allies 1942 Online accommodates 1-5 players, each controlling one or more of the Axis or Allied powers in Online Multiplayer, Hot Seat, or Single Player mode against the computer AI. Players command both their country’s military forces and its war-time economy.

Update 4.2.1 is now live in Battlefield V, launching the new Marita map, and adding new Elite skins Ilse and Kingsley to the store. A post on Reddit has the details:

There will be no general downtime for this update, and once it’s available for your platform you’re encouraged to close any active session that you have, and attempt to relaunch the game in order to start downloading and installing. Servers with players connected who are running the older version will be able to complete their matches, and new servers on the newer version will be spun up as folks queue via Quickplay Matchmaking.

Marita will then go live at 12PM CEST on all Platforms, and we will activate a Marita only playlist at this time. The playlist will rotate between 1 Round of Conquest, and 2 Rounds of Breakthrough (Attack/Defend) on this Map only. Marita will otherwise be included in the full rotations of Conquest, Breakthrough, and Team Deathmatch (appearing after Arras in Conquest, after Devastation in Breakthrough, and after Al Sundan on TDM) at this same time.

Two hours after the map rotations are available, we’ll set both Ilse and Kingsley live in the store.

Starting on August 8th, we’ll have a newer Marita playlist live for 32 Player modes that switches between Domination, Frontlines, and TDM.

AMD late Monday released the latest version of Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition. Version 19.7.4 Beta fixes a bug that caused “Grand Theft Auto V” to crash on machines with Radeon RX 5700-series graphics cards. The rest of its feature-set is identical to that of the 19.7.3 drivers. There’s no mention in the change-log of the worsened idle fan-noise of RX 5700-series graphics cards observed from the upgrade to 19.7.3.
