AMD Releases Radeon Software Crimson ReLive 17.10.3

AMD released the latest version of its Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition drivers. Version 17.10.3 fixes two major issues that are affecting RX Vega graphics card owners in particular. The problem with The Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus game client crashing or hanging upon launch has been fixed. So does the other issue involving the Destiny 2 client’s instability when the user is playing the sixth mission on the single player campaign.

Call of Duty: WWII Updated Specs and Post Beta Changes

call-of-duty-wwii With Call of Duty: WWII set for release on November 3rd, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software have announced updated specifications on PC, and numerous key updates after the open beta period. And remember that the Call of Duty: WWII Pre-Download has already started on Steam.

Here are a few of the key updates:

Anti-Cheating &Hacking: As previously posted, for the Beta, we did not publish our full suite of anti-cheat and anti-hack measures. We’ve strengthened these systems for launch and are now ready to deploy with the release of the game. Please also be aware that we will actively ban starting on Day 1. It’s of the utmost importance to us that everyone has a level playing field to enjoy the fun. If you spot anything that looks malicious or suspicious, please let us know.
Performance: Since the Beta, we’ve continued to improve settings to better match various video cards. In addition, we’ve implemented a warning detection if users appear to exceed their video memory. We’ve made great improvements to the video options in the last month, and are excited for players to see for themselves at launch.

NVIDIA Releases GeForce 388.13 WHQL Game Ready Drivers

NVIDIA today released GeForce 388.13 WHQL software. These drivers are game-ready for the week’s hottest AAA game releases, “Call of Duty: WWII,” “Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus,” and “Need for Speed: Payback.” This includes performance optimization, and GeForce Experience optimal settings. The drivers also add official support for the new GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics card, which makes its market debut on the 2nd of November.

The drivers also address a few bugs, including a rare issue with secondary displays blanking out on some systems, “Yellow bang appearing by the graphics entry in Device Manager,” and momentary display corruption on notebooks with hybrid GPUs, in which the display is switching between the CPU-integrated and NVIDIA discrete GPUs.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Released Worldwide

wolfenstein2-the-new-colossus Bethesda Softworks, a ZeniMax Media company, today announced that Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, developed by the award-winning team at MachineGames, is available now for the Xbox One, PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system and PC. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus rockets the action and chaos of the Wolfenstein franchise to new heights. As BJ “Terror-Billy” Blazkowicz, players must unite a rag-tag group of resistance fighters all striving toward one common goal: kicking Nazis out of America. The Windows version is now available on Steam.

“The Wolfenstein franchise is all about over-the-top action, combat and storytelling,” said Jens Matthies, Creative Director at MachineGames. “With The New Colossus, we pushed our creative boundaries even further, and we can’t wait for players to finally experience the next chapter of this wild ride.”

Wolfenstein II sends players to Nazi-controlled America on a mission to recruit the boldest resistance leaders left. Wanna Play a Game? Halloween Possesses World of Tanks

This Halloween, stranger things invade World of Tanks battlefields on PC. From October 27, the ghoulish tank Leviathan from the underworld attempts to besiege the world of the living in World of Tanks on PC.

Leviathan, ruler of the armored afterlife, has grown weary of his underworld dwelling and seeks to conquer the world of the living to expand its evil empire. Standing in its way are two multi-turreted event tanks: devastating long-range sniper Franken and thick-skinned Stein that can soak up damage and rush into the melee.

Players will find both these tanks in their Garage from October 27 19:00 Amsterdam time. After picking which one to play, you can face Leviathan’s forces in a PvE mode where they must stop its ingenious minions and take out the monster once and for all. If you’d rather combat real enemies, there’s a 15-vs-15 PvP mode, too.

Old Foes Rise From Their Watery Grave in World of Warships

One year ago, commanders banded together to banish terror from the high seas when the sinister Rasputin and its Zikasa hordes attempted to take over World of Warships. While brave captains sent these terrors back whence they came, little did the community know that, all this time, Rasputin had been plotting his return… To save the day this Halloween, players must fight the war for the living.

From Update 0.6.12.1, where there is darkness, there can also be light. And the second mission, Sunray in the Darkness, sees Transylvania return for another tour. Commanders once again head back to the Silver Spear Archipelago, sinking the forces of darkness in four brand-new Halloween ships. Destroyer Urashima with commander Mina Hurray, cruiser Svyatozar with commander Ivan K. Ulibin, battleship Magnu-S with commander Klaus V. Teslau, and aircraft carrier Nobilium with commander Lazarus Centurio will be there to aid players in their fight. Each new vessel in your Port is also equipped with a unique consumable that does not only affect you but the enemy, too. Take them for a ride and see which one is best at destroying hordes of enemy vessels.

This time, guard towers will be lending their help as you attempt to protect them and ensure the portal to the other side is sealed once and for all—while enemy forces pour out and a sinister, debilitating fog slowly spreads across the waters. While this fog reduces a ship’s HP, spotting and detectability, it heals enemy ships, meaning players must sink their foes on the double. The task at hand is to save the towers, defeat Rasputin and a new threat, the Gorgon, and eliminate all enemies to save Transylvania.

For successfully pulling off your mission and completing special objectives, commanders receive a certain number of stars which, along with generating a rank, unlock awesome rewards. With special Halloween camo, tons of Free XP, Premium Account time, and loads of other treats up for grabs, players would have to be seriously spooked to miss out on this ghastly event.
