Gaijin Entertainment is happy to announce that Aces of Thunder is out on Steam and PlayStation. Aces of Thunder is a realistic air combat simulation game with unmatched immersion and stunning visuals that look perfect both with and without VR HMDs.

Aces of Thunder allows the players to fly a selection of legendary aircraft from World War II, including Mustang, Bf 109, Fw 190, Yak‑9T, IL‑2, A6M3 Zero, as well as Great War icons like the Fokker Dr.I and SPAD S.XIII. All these aircraft feature authentic flight and damage models, with highly detailed cockpits and armament, and are available right from the start.

Online battles take the players to key theaters of war, from Western and Eastern Europe to the Pacific across 15 atmospheric maps. Engage in intense online duels against pilots from around the world, play through the “War Tales” campaign, or hone your skills in single player missions, inspecting your aircraft in the hangar between sorties. The battles take place exclusively from the cockpit view to provide ultimate immersion, and the game fully supports a variety of input methods including HOTAS.

There are two editions of Aces of Thunder available for purchase: Standard and Deluxe. If you purchase the Standard edition, you can upgrade to Deluxe later. The Deluxe Edition, in addition to the base game and the core selection of legendary aircraft, gives access to five extra iconic machines: F4U‑4, Spitfire Mk Ia, Hurricane Mk IV, SBD‑3 and P‑40E‑1.
