Gaijin Entertainment announces that the “Line of Contact” major content update for the online military action game War Thunder is now available to players. It brings dozens of new iconic ground, naval, and air vehicles, including the M10 Booker tank, the Terminator series tank support combat vehicles, the F/A-18E Super Hornet carrier-based fighter, and the Prince of Wales battleship. Applications for the Infantry mode Closed Beta Test have also opened on the official website, and the test itself will start in the coming weeks.

    “Line of Contact” Release Trailer

The M10 Booker is a modern American light tank with good mobility, a 105mm XM35 gun, and the best armor-piercing shell of its caliber, capable of penetrating even the best protected main battle tanks. The fire control system includes a convenient panoramic sight, a laser rangefinder, and a thermal imager. Although the M10 Booker program was canceled this year, two dozen vehicles were delivered to the troops in February 2024. In War Thunder, this tank is ideal for reconnaissance and in the sniper role.

The F/A-18E Super Hornet is a major upgrade of the F/A-18C Hornet, significantly different from the original model. For example the airframe was redesigned and is 90% different, featuring an increased proportion of composite materials. It is the most modern and advanced carrier-based 4++ generation fighter-attack aircraft in the US Navy, equipped with an active electronically scanned array radar, 11 hardpoints, a vast arsenal of smart weapons, and a convenient helmet-mounted targeting system.

The BMPT Terminator is a Russian specialized tank support vehicle. Its two 30mm automatic cannons can engage light vehicles and aircraft, while the Ataka ATGM allows for tank hunting. The first iteration of the Terminator also has an automatic 30mm AGS grenade launcher as part of its combat module. Both Terminator versions added to War Thunder use a tank chassis (T-90 or T-72), which provides good mobility and a good amount of protection compared to infantry fighting vehicles and other light vehicles.

More information on the update is available on the official War Thunder website.

broken-arrowSlitherine has released Update 1.0.12 “Allied Command” for Broken Arrow. This update introduces an important new feature, several gameplay improvements, and a number of resolved issues.

The key feature of this update is the introduction of allied bots in Skirmish mode. Our goal was to ensure that bots act as reliable, predictable teammates while still remaining flexible enough to adapt to dynamic in-game situations.

To support this new functionality, we expanded the lobby settings. Bots can now be assigned to any available slot on either side, while retaining familiar options such as difficulty and specialization. This gives players more room to experiment – assembling custom teams, balancing sides, or testing new tactical approaches.

Skirmish mode has also received several quality-of-life improvements aimed at enhancing convenience and gameplay variety. Lobbies are now private by default and automatically filled with bots upon creation, allowing matches to start more quickly. Additionally, you can now change the time of day, making each battle more atmospheric and adding greater variability to battlefield conditions.

call-to-arms-panzer-eliteA fresh content update for Call to Arms: Panzer Elite has been spotted, and it’s packed with player-requested goodies, battlefield toys, and a few surprises.

Let’s start with the big one: Checkpoints. Yes, you asked for it. Yes, we finally delivered. And yes, this is only the first step toward a full savegame system. No more staring at your monitor in existential dread after losing a 45-minute mission. As of now, it’s experimental, single-player only, and fully toggleable. Baby steps toward sanity.

A new campaign mission, St. Vith, drops you straight into the frozen teeth of the Battle of the Bulge. Expect gritty winter engagement, full of snow, chaos, and a whole lot of resistance. And if you want to flatten your opposition in style, the iconic Panzerkampfwagen V “Panther” tank is finally here. If you haven’t heard of it, think of a Tiger built for mobility and firepower. It’s big, mean, and very ready to ruin someone’s day.

Skirmish players, we heard you yelling for bigger playgrounds. Say hello to ALG “A-1″, a huge airfield map designed for long-range duels and few places to hide. On top of that, the new Testing Grounds mode strips PvP down to its pure, chaotic essentials: 5v5, no AI, no nonsense. Just you, your aim, and whoever you blame when things go sideways.

Open-top vehicles now feature visible crews, because tanks shouldn’t feel like empty metal coffins. And with new HUD presets – Immersive, Casual, or Custom – you can dial the battlefield exactly to your liking without diving through menus like it’s your part-time job.

The update also includes a healthy pile of fixes, animation upgrades, UI tweaks, and other improvements that make everything look, sound, and play better.

    Watch the Update Trailer HERE.

Call to Arms: Panzer Elite is available now for PC in Early Access exclusively on Steam, priced at $29.99 / €29.99.
