This update will bring Cairo Bazaar, our reimagining of the Battlefield 3 map Grand Bazaar, as well as the return of Battlefield 4’s Obliteration mode. In Obliteration, you must secure neutral bombs, escort carriers, and destroy enemy M-COMs.

We have been so excited watching you share your experiences, seeing the great videos from our War Correspondents and being able to receive and implement your important feedback throughout both our Closed and Open Betas.

In addition to your feedback, we have also been carrying out intensive internal playtests for both the PC and Console versions of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam and we have identified several areas where additional development time will allow us to deliver a stronger launch experience.

Therefore, after careful consideration, we have decided to delay launch to August 13th. This will ensure that Hell Let Loose: Vietnam launches at the quality level we expect and you deserve.

We understand that many of you have been waiting patiently for this next instalment in the Hell Let Loose franchise and we are deeply appreciative of your patience. We will continue to keep you updated on our progress.

83Blue Dot Games has released a new Developer Tape video for ‘83, detailing the studio’s response to player feedback following the game’s recent Early Access launch, while also announcing a 50% discount running from June 4th to 18th. The video provides an in-depth look at ongoing development efforts, covering improvements to performance, animations, immersion, communication systems and community features.

Launching ’83 into Early Access marked a major milestone for Blue Dot Games, following years of work bringing the project into a modern engine and preparing it for large-scale online warfare. While the Early Access launch presented a number of challenges, player feedback has become a key driver of the game’s ongoing development.

Since launch, the team has rolled out regular hotfixes, balance changes and major quality-of-life updates aimed at improving the overall experience. Work has focused on areas highlighted by the community, including server stability, optimisation, animations, audio, visual effects and player communication.

Recent improvements include updates to weapon handling and movement animations, more impactful battlefield audio and effects, refinements to VOIP and team coordination systems, and new tools for both official and community servers. Blue Dot Games is also continuing work on systems designed to encourage teamwork and create more consistently tense, hard-fought matches.

Alongside these improvements, additional updates are planned for the weeks and months ahead, with further work underway across gameplay systems, stability and community-requested features.

A 50% discount will be available from June 4th to 18th, giving new players an ideal opportunity to jump into ’83 and experience its large-scale Cold War battles.

In addition, a new Assault scenario will enter beta soon, expanding ’83′s large-scale tactical sandbox with new opportunities for squad coordination and combat. More details on the scenario and future updates will be shared in the coming weeks.

Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, 2026 on XBOX Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC, and for the first time, Nintendo Switch 2.

gallipoliBlackMill Games today announced that the expected launch of Gallipoli on May 21 has been delayed. The studio is now targeting summer 2026 for a release across PC and consoles.

CEO and Founder at BlackMill Games, Jos Hoebe, said:

“The delay follows the discovery of a critical issue during the final stages of development that requires additional time to resolve before launch.

Because this issue would impact the game experience for a significant group, the studio has made the difficult decision to delay the release.”

battlefield-6Electronic Arts Inc. and Battlefield Studios today launched Season 3 across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC. Two of Battlefield’s most celebrated maps are re-imagined for Battlefield 6 this season, with Railway to Goldmud and Cairo Bazaar, alongside the highly anticipated debut of Ranked Play in Battle Royal Quads.

BATTLEFIELD 6 OFFICIAL SEASON 3 GAMEPLAY TRAILER

Phase 1: Warlords: Supremacy, begins today and features the largest map in Battlefield 6 to date, Railway to Golmud. This is a reimagining of Battlefield 4’s Golmud Railway, is evolved for modern combat, with expanded airspace for dogfighting, increased elevation and additional structures to flank behind, plus the return of a fully operational railway complete with a moving train.

Phase 1 also sees the debut of Ranked Play. Launching in Battle Royale Quads in REDSEC, this is the introduction of Battlefield’s new competitive framework. Ranked Seasons will feature a tiered ranking system from Rookie to Master, with a unique emblem for the top 250 players globally. Players earn Ranked Points through confirmed kills and assists, and final placement, with rewards such as player cards and titles to show off their prowess on the battlefield.

On June 9, Phase 2: Blast Point features another all-time classic map reimagined for Battlefield 6:Cairo Bazaar, a remake of Battlefield 3′s Grand Bazaar, relocated to Cairo. A tight, close-quarters combat space packed with alleyways and shops designed for deadly ambushes and intense gunfights. Alongside the new map, Obliteration also arrives in Phase 2 as a new mode. This classic 32v32 mode from Battlefield 4 returns as a more strategic, tightly contested variant where a single mistake can cost the match. This mode is also available as a LTM called Tactical Obliteration, an 8v8 experience later in Phase 3.

Season 3 concludes on June 30 with Phase 3: High-Value Target, which includes Casual Battle Royale and Battlefield’s First Collection Event, where players take down enemies, collect contracts, and execute them like a professional to earn exclusive rewards including cosmetics and even a new melee weapon.

Additional Season 3 highlights include new weapons, a new Handheld Jammer gadget, and a brand new Battle Pass.
