Western Civilization Software’s Forge of Freedom is the best grand strategy game of the American Civil War, delving into all aspects of nations at war. However, the tactical mode is extremely abstract. The developer seeks to remedy this with a tactical game, Brother Against Brother: The Drawing of the Sword. However, the computer gaming pool is crowded with tactical American Civil War games. What would make this game float or not be eaten by the sharks?

E3 press conferences are typically about the spectacle of lots of different games, lots of trailers, and just a tease of gameplay. Bethesda threw all that out the window with its debut 2015 presentation; the publisher closed out its show with over half an hour focused exclusively on the highly anticipated Fallout 4.

UbiBlog now offers the E3 2015 multiplayer trailer from Rainbow Six: Siege, the upcoming installment in the tactical shooter series. Here’s the accompanying explanation:
One team defends, the other attacks. It’s a simple dynamic, but what Rainbow: Six Siege’s multiplayer does with it is immediately, irresistibly compelling, as two squads of five counter-terrorist experts use every trick at their disposal to hamper, misdirect and destroy one another. Rainbow Six: Siege’s matches are as open-ended as they are vicious, and you can get another glimpse of them in this trailer, unveiled today during Microsoft’s E3 2015 press conference.
Each of Siege’s multiplayer stages presents its own unique challenges – a fortified jetliner, for example, doesn’t offer as many entry points as a windowed building with skylights in its flat roof – and overcoming your enemies’ fortifications and traps is just as fun as laying them. If you’d like an early sample of Siege’s cerebral shootouts, you can sign up for the closed beta, which begins on September 24. Today, at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Ubisoft announced the development of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands, a new entry in the acclaimed Ghost Recon series and the franchise’s first open world title. Ghost Recon: Wildlands is scheduled to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.
Development on Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is being led by Ubisoft Paris in collaboration with five other Ubisoft studios.
Set a few years from now, Ghost Recon: Wildlands lets players lead a team of Ghosts, a four-player U.S. Elite Special Operations unit, on a covert mission to eliminate the Santa Blanca drug cartel, an underworld power and growing global threat within Ubisoft’s imagining of an incredibly beautiful, yet dangerous Bolivia. Ghost Recon: Wildlands takes place in the largest and most diverse action-adventure open world Ubisoft has created to date. With hundreds of villages and well-known landmarks, local legends and various factions and regions, players venture into a vast world with which to interact and explore. The Ghosts’ upgradable skills, along with a vast arsenal of weapons, vehicles and drones, will help them take down their almighty enemy.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands gives players unprecedented freedom. Players can engage in the entire game solo or team up with up to three friends in co-op to roam freely in this gigantic playground. Players will have complete flexibility in how they tackle the game’s story, missions and objectives, as well as their approach, whether it’s stealth, distraction, tactical or frontal assault, or a combination of styles. As a member of the Ghosts, players face countless difficult decisions, and those choices have tangible – and often unexpected – consequences for enemies and allies alike creating dynamic and emergent gameplay throughout.

Here’s the E3 Cinematic Trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, the upcoming continuation of the assassination game. Word is: “Assassins’ Creed Syndicate tells the story of Jacob Frye and his quest to seize control of London’s criminal underground. Watch as he leads his gang—The Rooks—in a frantic fight through the city, traversing the rooftops, streets, and even a speeding train to take down a rival gang that is cruelly exploiting the people of London.” They also offer a new gameplay trailer with the following explanation: “Straight from the stage, get a first look at the official E3 2015 Assassin’s Creed Syndicate gameplay walkthrough. Check out the intense up-close combat as well as the ability to traverse the city faster than ever before with brand new vehicles like horse carts and trains. Scapa Flow naval base held great significance to both Great Britain’s Royal Navy and Germany’s new Second World War Kriegsmarine. It was here that Kaiser Wilhelm’s German High Seas Fleet of 74 battleships, cruisers and destroyers were interned immediately following the end of the First World War. As part of the Armistice and the later Versailles Treaty ending the war, Germany had to turn over its entire navy to the victorious Allies and promise to build no new warships as part of the hated document’s “War Guilt Clause.” The shame and unfairness of this clause remained a painful bone in the throat of the German Navy long after the signing of the treaty.

Ubisoft has unveiled a video interview with Creative Director Marc-Alexis Coté for Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, offering fresh details about this new entry in the Assassin’s Creed Universe that throws you into the dawn of the modern era during the Industrial Revolution. You play Jacob Frye, a gangster assassin fighting for justice on behalf of London’s enslaved working class. You will fight having various weapons at your disposal such as kukri knife, brass knuckles, and sword cane in brutal combat; the brand new rope launcher can be used to scale buildings in seconds or take your enemies by surprise.
Also, the open world of Industrial London is populated with trains and carriages that players can drive, steal, assassinate from and hide in. Players can also play as as Jacob’s twin sister Evie, a relentless Assassin who has perfected the silent, swift, invisible strike.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 23, 2015.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy, the third DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC on 2nd July. From Parliament in London, to the snowy confines of the Kremlin in Moscow, players will experience a diverse landscape of multiplayer mayhem, including the return of one of the most iconic multiplayer maps in Call of Duty history, “Highrise,” which first debuted in 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, now transported to the year 2054. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy includes four new, action-packed multiplayer maps, all featuring the new Exo Grapple mechanic, which adds a layer of fun and strategy to the experience.
