No wonder so many gamers are playing shooters on Xbox Live nowadays.

There was a time when the place to play a shooter or strategy game was solely on a PC. Yes consoles may have dabble with the concept - but anyone trying to play Quake III on Dreamcast against PC gamers were given very short shrift and routinely pwned into oblivion.
