Vivendi Universal has released the public tools and standalone servers v1.02 for F.E.A.R., the spooky supernatural first-person shooter by Monolith Productions (Thanks:3DGamers). There are no details on the contents of the SDK, while the servers come in Win32 and Linux flavors and include everything you need to host standalone multiplayer servers for the full game. 81.9 - 91.5 MB

VU Games is also pleased to announce that as part of its ongoing efforts to improve the in-game experience for gamers, a deal has been signed to incorporate the PunkBuster Anti Cheat software into F.E.A.R. Other updates planned for 2006 include additional multiplayer maps and game types, along with a ‘votekick’ option.
