Third Wire Productions has issued a new patch for Strike Fighters 2 Europe, an updated version of "Wings Over Europe" which adds Windows Vista compatibility. The game is a stand-alone product and does not require "Strike Fighters 2" to play, but if you already have "Strike Fighters 2" or "Strike Fighters 2 Vietnam", the games are merged to make all the stock aircraft available. Also, the "Strike Fighters 2 Weapons Editor" has been updated. 30.1 MB (PATCH)

Ten years ago this month the very first mod by the Camo Workshop for Steel Panthers 2 was released and the wargaming world has never been the same. A decade of dedication later the Camo Workshop is still tweaking their ultimate super-mod, making the best even better, and with that in mind have now made available a brand new upgrade to their winSPWW2.
Bringing the game to version 3.5, the upgrade patch is available for immediate download and weighs in at 5.9 MB of digital excellence. The upgrade is for both the free download and the Enhanced CD Edition. Simulation fans will be pleased to know that leading video game publisher Lighthouse Interactive and developer Discus games proudly announced that Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942 (PC) is now available in major retail store shelves across the UK and Scandinavia.
Tank simulation fans outside of these territories, do not worry! For Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942 has also become available at direct download sites as well as at the Online Lighthouse Interactive European Shops. German and French releases are planned for Q1-2009.

Today leading video game publisher Lighthouse Interactive and developers Discus Games and Graviteam announced that Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942 – their highly realistic historical tank simulator – has achieved gold master status.
The game will be available online at the Lighthouse Shop as of today. The UK, Scandinavian and direct download release has been set for 5th December, with German and French releases planned for Q1-2009.
The events of Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942 are based on a little-known Russian offensive that occurred during May 1942, in which a German counterattack had three Soviet armies surrounded, forcing them to fight their way out of the Barvenkovskiy Kotel ‘meat grinder’.

Publisher Lighthouse has announced that its tank simulator for PC WWII Battle Tanks: T-34 vs Tiger, originally scheduled for April 2008, has been delayed. A new date has not yet been set.
Raymond Snippe, Development Manager for Lighthouse Interactive, said: "T34 has a lot going for it. The combination of gorgeous graphics, realistic physics models, interactive environments and exhilarating multiplayer gameplay justifiably makes this a highly anticipated simulation." He went on to say: "Because it is so highly anticipated and because of the community feedback that reached us after the Russian release, we wanted to give the developer the extra time to polish the game to make sure we deliver the best product possible. We expect to announce a new release date in the near future."

Ukranian game developer GravITeam has released a barrage of new screenshots showcasing their upcoming World War II tank simulation, Steel Fury: Kharkov 1942. Steel Fury is set during the Red Army offensive of May 12-28, 1942 in which three Soviet Armies were surrounded and forced to fight their way out of the "meat grinder" of the Barvenkovskiy Kotel.
