Armed Assault II is the culmination of ten years of work, all of it poured into what is effectively the same game. For better or worse ArmA II will have as much in common with the original 'Flashpoint' as it has its namesake predecessor. Across all three games you'll find the same geographic scale, punishing realism and uncompromising attention to detail. Enough of each that the Ministry of Defence, Australia's Defence Force and the US Marine Corps will likely continue their business dealings with what is probably the Czech Republic's biggest military export. For many gamers there can be no greater endorsement than that - but players who have been taken down once too many times by ArmA's crackshot AI may need a little more convincing.
