Well, here is a pair of PCI audio adapters for your consideration. One comes from the familiar ASUS brand: the Xonar D2. The other comes from a lesser-known manufacturer called Auzentech: the X-Fi Prelude 7.1. The audio logic it licensed for this particular card will ring a bell: it's Creative Labs' EAX-happy X-Fi. But would you want to pay the high price for either of them?
