New Details/Screenshots on Salerno '43

Following their announcement over the weekend, HPS Sims released on Wednesday more details on Panzer Campaigns: Salerno '43. The new operational-level wargame from John Tiller covers the invasion of the Italian peninsula, as well as the battles on Anzio and Crete. Although the game comes with only 26 scenarios (a smaller than average number for the Panzer Campaigns series), the scenarios are substantially larger and longer. These 26 scenarios include seven Crete scenarios (90 turns apiece), nine scenarios on Salerno (80 turns apiece), and nine Anzio scenarios (at a whopping 275 turns per scenario). To accomodate the massive scenarios, the game map will measure an impressive 50x56 hexes. As usual, the hexes will be one kilometer across, turns will run for two hours, and OOB and scenario editors will also be included. Salerno '43 will be released July 1st.
