Matrix Games announces the release of a new version 1.60 War in the Pacific Patch (Thanks:Blue's News). Word is:
"This update focuses on some minor bug fixes and a multitude of subtle map changes to better mimic the War in the Pacific. The bug fixes number just over 20 fixes and changes to the War in the Pacific system. Some of the more important items include fixes involving the capture of enemy bases, the loss of experience when replacing large numbers of soldiers in a unit, and unit “all follow” commands. Additionally, there are 41 map changes that more accurately depict the war. They are all minor in size but may play a major role in forming new strategies in a few specific areas of the world.
