Play Ten and WorldForge announce The Golden Horde, a historical RTS game planned for release by the end of this year. A The Golden Horde product section is live with info and screenshots, and here's the announcement:
Play Ten Interactive and WorldForge Studios today unveiled the new real-time strategy title under the working name Golden Horde. Based on the same engine and gameplay principles as critically acclaimed "Ancient Wars: Sparta", this game is posed to start the conquest of the gaming community at the end of 2007. Taking into account the feedback from players of “Sparta”, WorldForge aims to create a brand new experience in the strategy genre.
