It's a mystery why wargame designers haven't tackled Vicksburg before (well, okay, maybe somebody did back in the Age of CGA/EGA graphics, but if so that title would be both primitive-looking and literally unplayable today), or someone may have done a Vicksburg mod for Age of Rifles.-if any reader knows about such a project, I encourage him to share the information with the rest of us. But so far as I know, this new HPS simulation is literally the "only game in town", and it would still command respect even it if had serious competition.
