The Battlefield October 2006 Newsletter offers a portion of the Battlefield 2142 introduction, saying:
"This is the exclusive first look at the Battlefield 2142 intro movie that will be included in the final game. This video was produced at DICE and is yet another awesome Roland Smedberg production. The full video will premier next week, but you get to see the first footage here!"
