EA clarifies the release schedule for the Battlefield 2142 demo, which involves a series of cascading exclusivities more worthy of a puzzle game or a tycoon sim than a military shooter. On Thursday the sample of the shooter sequel will be available as a 24 hour exclusive for customers who have preordered the Collector's Edition. The public debut of the demo will take place on Friday, but this too will be an exclusive, with partner sites (in the US it will be GameSpot) to have first crack at distributing this non-egalitarian sample of the game through Saturday morning.
