GMX Media today released information that details the availability of their new WWII based massively multiplayer online, ond Blitzkriegrmerly known as World War II Online). Slated for release sometime in June 2005,Beyond Blitzkrieg is a "first-person, online action game where players choose to fight alongside and against thousands of other players on the battlefields of Western Europe." With both accurately modelled vehicles or excellent historical accuracy with infantry weapons, Beyond Blitzkrieg is expected to offer endless replay value with tons of tasks and skills to master.

Terrorist Takedown: Payback Announced

German publisher dtp announced today that City Interactive is working on an addon for its Terrorist Takedown action game, Payback. Scheduled for an April release, Terrorist Takedown: Payback is a standalone expansion pack in which the player once againtakes on the role of GIs fighting against terrorrism. The expansion incorporates various gameplay improvements over the original title and adds 10 new missions, and lets you fly AH 64-Apache, control the .50 caliber humvee machine gun, or take aim with an antitank cannon, all for the low price of $9.99.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Full Installs & Patches v2.60



id Software has released new patches and full installs for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory to advance the free team-based multiplayer first-person shooter by Splash Damage to version 2.60. There are patches for Win32 and Linux, an updated Linux full install as well as the first Mac OSX full install, and this release implements optimizations, server enhancements, demo recording/playing improvements, graphics tweaks, better mod support, and a huge number of bug fixes.
