Not too long ago, we got our hands on the latest technological breakthrough in consumer LCD monitors. The BenQ FP91V+ was the first to introduce a stunning 6ms Gray To Gray (GTG) response time. We had anticipated then that the competition would heat up with other manufacturers starting to adopt the GTG standard in reporting monitor response time and we were right. However, we didn't expect the speed barrier to be erased in just a little over one month. ViewSonic has unveiled their answer to BenQ's FP91V+ and this is in the form of the 4ms VX924. That's right, we have in our hands the world's first 4ms GTG LCD monitor. If that isn't enough to make you drool, the VX924 has a typical response time of 5ms. This means that both GTG and regular Black-White-Black pixel response times are almost identical.
