New Shooter Coming from Digital Illusions

Digital Illusions today announced a new first person shooter title will be coming our way this fall. Details are scarce.

Digital Illusions, developers of Battlefield Vietnam and Battlefield 1942, have announced that they have commenced work on a "new shooter game title" for Electronic Arts. Slated for release sometime this fall, the Canadian division of the studio is said to be charged with this latest project. Having already developed Battlefield Vietnam and the BF1942 expansion pack Secret Weapons of WWII, the Canadian branch will no doubt deliver a title worth looking at. Unforunately no website screenshots were provided and, due to the secretive nature of the press release, details as to the games origins and concept are nowhere to be found.
