We've seen a good range of performance and price in AMD's 7000 series lineup, from the flagship 7950 and 7970, to the budget-oriented 7750 and 7770. Sitting comfortably in between are the 7850 and 7870, the topic of today's focus.
VisionTek is an AMD partner that typically produces reference designs, but these new cards have been tweaked, looking to produce better temperatures in a sleekly-styled package. Performance is one thing, but we're suckers for great value as well, so let's take a closer look at these graphics cards and find out if they can meet our expectations.
