We have another Call of Duty 2 preview for your reading pleasure today from the fine folks over at IGN. Here's a snippet:
"One thing that looks familiar is Call of Duty 2's art style. Even with the visual similarities, there's no mistaking that this game looks better than the first in the series. Specular maps, normal maps, radiosity, dynamic lighting, full use of shaders... all the new popular terms make an appearance to create a very detailed and lovely environment. Yes, Call of Duty 2 is going to take some processing power to turn on all of the details, but Infinity Ward is making sure to include fallbacks so those with lesser machines will still have a chance to run it. It'll just look a lot like the first game."
