Nevertheless, the GeForce 7800 GT is still a superior performer when compared to these two graphics cards. This is simply because the new GeForce 7800 GT boasts more pixel and vertex pipelines. Although it is clear that the GeForce 7800 GT is capable to defeating any and all Radeon X800 and GeForce 6 products, how well does it stand up to the GeForce 7800 GTX? This is the all important question that we are about to find out. The key advantages of the GeForce 7800 GTX part are the additional 4 pixel pipes, 1 vertex pipe, 30MHz higher core clock and a 100MHz memory clock (200MHz DDR). All this adds up for a significantly higher memory bandwidth, but how much will this benefit the GeForce 7800 GTX in today’s games.
