Console News: Spark Sues Activision

Gamasutra is reporting that console developer Spark is suing publisher Activision over Call of Duty: Finest Hour, demanding $10 million in damages (Thanks:Blue's News). According to the report, Spark alleges that not only has Activision has failed to make required royalty payments for the World War II console shooter, but they also used the developer's proposals to develop a CoD sequel in-house, in spite of Spark's claims to a three game contract. Saying they are currently reviewing the situation, Activision is refraining from commenting on the suit, which was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
