Call of Duty 7 Under Development at Treyarch

Treyarch senior animator David Kim has let slip that Call of Duty 7 is under development at the studio behind "Call of Duty: World at War" by listing it on his LinkedIn profile.
"I am currently on my second title as a senior animator in the games industry with Activision / Treyarch on Call of Duty 7," reads Kim's profile, superannuation spotted.
Call of Duty 7--no doubt a working title--may be expected next year given Activision's commitment to annual releases of its major franchises, and its "leapfrog" strategy which has seen Infinity Ward and Treyarch alternate CoD entries these past few years.
Kim's Call of Duty 7 listing follows recent rumors that the sequel could be set in the Vietnam War era, based on the tunes Activision is supposedly seeking to license.
