Ok, let's just say, hypothetically, that your rich uncle Throckmorton sent you a Christmas present and, on the appointed morning, you opened it to find ... a new GTX 280 (or 4870 X2, if you're an ATI guy.) Awesome! But wait. On your last build, you cheaped out on the power supply (never a good idea) to save a few bucks, and you're pretty sure this new graphics card will let the smoke out of your lame PSU. So, what do you do? You could spend upwards of $300 on a new PSU, but who's got that kind of dough after Christmas?
