If there's one industry that sometimes prides itself on turning away from change, it's the gaming industry. We've got more sequels and barely changed spin-off titles than we know what to do with. However, what never fails to peak my interest is when a developer understands that sometimes change may be what is needed to keep a franchise, successful or not, alive. Commandos: Strike Force is not the Commandos many PC strategy fans have come to know and love. While "strategy" still applies, the game is radically different than its predecessors. However, while change can be scary, Eidos and Pyro Studios aim to show that it doesn't have to be a bad thing. I had a chance to talk with Inigo Vinos, of Pyro, to learn a bit more about the game.
