Announcing SWAT 3 Elite Edition!SWAT 3: Elite Edition is the highly anticipated multiplayer version of SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle. The Elite Edition will give gamers everywhere what they've always wanted -- the ability to take on their friends in the ultra-realistic environment of SWAT 3! Battle on a LAN or over Flipside.com in a number of different game types: Co-Op or Deathmatch.
The Elite Edition contains multiplayer, new missions, new characters and skins, a complete suite of tools (including a level-builder, scenario editor, and mod selector) to support the SWAT gaming community, and the entire single player version of SWAT 3.
The bottom line: The most realistic tactical action title now has multiplayer and the tools destined to build the community and extend SWAT 3’s award winning gameplay! Look for SWAT 3: Elite Edition to hit retailer’s shelves in Fall 2000.
Upgrading SWAT 3 to SWAT 3: Elite Edition
How do current SWAT 3 owners get the features found in the SWAT 3: Elite Edition? With the “Elite Edition Upgrade.” This upgrade is free to SWAT 3 owners and will be available with the launch of SWAT 3: Elite Edition. Look for this upgrade in Fall 2000.
What about the products previously known as “Battle Plan” and “Special Edition?”
Elite Edition encompasses these products and is the next installment in the SWAT gaming franchise.
