Saboteur Plans Delayed

As part of its earnings report yesterday, EA delivered an impressive list of second-quarter releases that cleared by varying degrees the million-unit mark. Notably, Madden NFL 09 led sales with 4.5 million units, with fellow new releases Spore, Tiger Woods 09, FIFA 09, NCAA Football 09, Warhammer Online, Mercenaries 2, and the Rock Band/Rock Band 2 duo all attaining platinum or multiplatinum status this fiscal year.
One title that won't join that list is Pandemic's Saboteur. In justifying to investors why it had lowered its expected earnings-per-share by $0.30 yesterday, EA said that Pandemic's viva-la-resistance action-adventure had been pushed to the publisher's fiscal year 2010, which runs April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010.
