With storage becoming cheaper as time goes on, there's a good chance that one might find themselves with an extra internal hard drive lying around. When the need for portable storage arises it's easy enough to just buy an external hard drive, but a cheaper option would be to give the internal HDD a new home and turn it into a mobile storage device. This can be accomplished by using an enclosure such as Thermaltake's Vi-On which will be the focus of today's review. With anti-vibration features and an active SMART cooling fan, it aims to provide a quiet, cool housing for any internal 3.5” SATA HDD. I've got a spare drive ready to go, so let's get it installed and see how this product performs.
