A 3rd-person WWII action game departs from the usual.

Although Wolfenstein 3D technically pioneered the WWII shooter, it wasn't until Medal of Honor: Allied Assault came along that people said, "Hey, this stuff is kinda neat." And Saving Private Ryan didn't hurt popularity either. Since then, we've seen a flood of releases. Some of them good, like Call of Duty, and some of them like Mortyr. Thankfully, Pilot Down has more going for it than a 3rd-person perspective. In fact, the game is more action adventure than pure shooter.
