Microsoft's Gamerscore Blog outlines solutions for issues with Windows LIVE and the just-released PC editions of Gears of War. The update offers two ways to address an issue with the automatic Windows LIVE update that accompanies the release, one is to manually update LIVE before installation, and the other involves restarting the game, which for some reason involves nine steps. The post concludes by saying:
"Microsoft Game Studios is working on a title update to be released in the near future that will allow users to avoid manually exiting Gears of War to apply the update. The good news is that once you go through the above process, you won't have to do it again!"
