Attention all you alternative browser fans, Mozilla just released Firefox 2.0.0.6! This latest update fixes two recently discovered security holes (1 high, 1 moderate) The download weighs in at only 5.7MB so grab it if you need it, try it if you haven’t. Current users of Firefox 2 will receive an update notice

"The following security issues have been fixed. Unescaped URIs passed to external programs MFSA 2007-26 Privilege escalation through chrome-loaded about:blank windows. The award-winning Web browser is now faster, more secure, and fully customizable to your online life."

For those who like to live on the bleeding edge of browser software, the seventh alpha release of Firefox 3 should be available sometime later today.
